  • My budget from today to the 15th Feb

    £80.00 on food
    £80.00 on petrol
    £80.00 gas/electricity cos I'm on a meter
£80.00 on me - my bad habits but hopefully I can get rid in a few months.

Going to concentrate on fine tuning this but I suspect there will be over spends. Let's see what I can and can't do.

  • Still haven't completed my job application!

But had a good laugh with the hairdressers. He could tell I was feeling low. He suggested a small change which I wasn't convinced about at first but I thought well he knows what he's talking about. I now have a huge fringe. I love it! Once the old dear was under the drier well the banter started. Knowing that I'm now officially newly single he wanted to know how I was going to get myself out there. Ermmm I'm not! You've got to start dating! I asked him how do you do that these days cos I ain't going on tinder!

Any suggestions re dating would be much appreciated!

Then I went off to sainsbobs afterwards and spent over £100 on food, a couple of styling products, a hairdryer (I haven't owned one since I was a teenager) and a couple of items of clothing. I forgot myself! Not going to get annoyed with myself - yet. I treated myself. Part of me needs a little confidence boost. Going to have to find the receipt and see what I spent out of the food budget.

Try and get some sleep now as I have a banging head. Hopefully I can get up early and start on this application form before going over to rents for the afternoon and maybe a little look around the shops before hand.

  • A new haircut always is a good idea and glad the hairdresser convinced you to try something new, that reminds me of what Davina's says in her book, that it is always a good idea to jusssshhhh your hair.

I actually highly recommend her book, it's really uplifting.

I think it is important that you get some outside help to talk through the divorce etc..are you planning to see your doctor to ask for help, you mentioned it would be a good idea.

    Have a good Sunday

Well its been a few months since I lasted posted. Due to anxiety (and I really hate having this mental illness that one minute I'm fine then the next it's taking hold of me again in ways I just can't explain) I've had to take time out to ride it out.

I managed to secure the permanent post at my full time job but due to my illness I gave up my part time job as I felt they couldn't rely on me and it got to the point where I wasn't enjoying it. They wouldn't transfer me closer to home so there was no other option but to leave. Having more spare time meant I had more time to think which fed the anxiety even more.

Think I'm ok now but the last few months have had a few good bits and lots of horrible bits.

so i've decided to make a few changes to my life and life style which will hopefully improve my health and my bank balance. Hopefully get me focused on what I want out of life.

I have renewed my contract on the flat for another year. bit bummed at first as I hoped I'd have got myself my own home but there's a lot of decisions to be made there and part of me doesn't think I'm ready to make the 100% commitment to a mortgage and I need to decide where I want to live.

This gives me time to add to the deposit. So my first task between now and the 14th June I can save £300 towards the deposit.

I hope everyone is doing well and I'll have a catch up with everyone 's diaries for inspiration.
