  • I hate when someone asks me how much I bench. I don't know, I lift to gain muscle and I have know desire in ego lifting.

Besides that, bench pressing isn't the true test of strength. In my opinion Deadlifts are the true test. That our squats.
  • OMG .... I have just seen one of those apps for a dog ! Something to do with if it's getting enough exercise !!!

  • I often see women who are incredibly thin working out for hours on end, not sure that is healthy either.
Do you have a fitness blog? Would you like free 'branded' sports nutrition products to review? If so then PM me for details...
  • People in the pool pushing off just as I reach the wall.

I'm not bothered about the speed others go, they just need to let me pass!

Happens to me all the time. I am not a fast swimmer but neither am I a slowcoach. It happens mostly in lane swimming and I have either to do a half length and turn or stop and wait at the end of every length. Why don't I go in the fast lane? Because I have got more manners than deliberately slow others down who are fast swimmers.

When there is no lane swimming they are still at it.

No solution, I am afraid, they are as entitled to use the Pool as anyone and if they choose to be selfish there is absolutely nothing one can do.

    Dictionary.com:-

    tone in Medicine:
    tone (tōn)
    n.

The quality or character of sound.

The character of voice expressing an emotion.

The normal state of elastic tension or partial contraction in resting muscles.

Normal firmness of a tissue or an organ.

It would seem that it's a perfectly valid term.

There's no solution, it just makes me rage!! Although repeat offenders sometimes find that I get less polite and less worried about squeezing past them.

My pet peeve is the people who stand right by the door of the yoga class having the loudest possible conversation while waiting for the next class to start, it's distracting and sometimes you can't hear the yoga teacher and you put your elbow in the wrong ear.

Oh and I've never been brave enough to take on the steam room due to the number of naked ladies in there, despite the signs asking for costumes to be worn
  • My pet hate is people (usually women) that say

"I dont use free weights because I dont want to get huge, I use machines beause I want to be toned"
