  • Very sad news about rosieben, RIP.

Yesterday was a NSD, but today I paid flying visits to Mr M, Ald1, W8rose and Mr T. Total spend was £21.06. Finally caved in and bought chocolate biscuits and chocolate for the first time this month - reduced price but still £1.92. :o I think my willpower is better when I don't have DD with me.

£3.54 spent on 2x chelsea buns (YS), 2 litres diet Pepsi & 2 pack of veggie burgers.

£6.49 spent on a pack of sweet peppers, a pack of mangetout, a bag of frozen peas, a pack of tomatoes, some sweetener tablets, a bag of pears, some broccoli, 4 brioche buns & a bag of apples.

£3.62 spent on some halloumi & some goats cheese.

That's all the top up shopping done.

    Adding £13.65 to total.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday :)

I was hoping for a NSD today but had to pop into Morrisons and get 1 item, so spent 70p.
I still have £100 to last the rest of the month. really tempted to get pizza from Tesco (my instant default when feeling too busy to cook) but want to try the Carrot, cumin and kidney bean burgers from agirlcalledjack. I have all of the ingredients but not any burger buns.

Any idea what I could make instead? I have tuna, lots of veggies, pasta and rice, a butternut squash that needs to be used, plus cheese and some potatoes. Any suggestions welcome :)

I would make the burgers and have some garlic and herb roasted potatoes with them!

    So sad about Rosieben.

£19.70 spend for me today at as*a. That should do me til Friday hopefully. I found 5 unopened bags of meat free mince in the freezer???:D so most of our meals for a little while will be mince based. We have 2 veggies and 2 meat eaters so I might have to top up shopping with some meat for the guys.

Hope everyone has had a good day.
