NSD today. My freezer needs defrosting so I shall be shopping from it for the next few days, but will also need a few veg and salad bits and pieces in the next few days, just nothing to freeze. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Whoa, I managed to avoid going for any food again although I had to go into town! So proud, lol. So another NSD today and used up food from the freezer.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

Dropped DD2 off at drama yesterday; and on way went to get penne (as no suitable pasta for tuna and pasta) and the Co-*p had lots of toiletries/medicines reduced. Ended up spending £4.71 on pasta, and discontinued flu plus tabs x 2 @ 75p each, Nivea eye make up remover 97p, Montagne Jeunesse facepack sachets (5)@ £1.50 (for DD1 as stocking filler) and 38p cornflour dated Dec 2015.
Then went to Morrisons as a few bits on Shopitize and CheckoutSmart on offer, so BE Inspirations would work out at £1after cashback and 2litres of irn bu 50p,and milk 95p; this is all providing i qualify of course.I never seem to have much look with these things. For now it's £5.39 spends. Will add back any monies as and when.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £134.25/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Checking in with a £7.64 spend at T*sco yesterday. Mince, a pie, butter, bread, fruit and veg, most of it reduced price. Planning a NSD today cooking for the freezer.0

Decided to go shopping last night rather than today and bought a few things which weren't on my list:( although it's food we'll use over the next couple of months so not really too bad, especially as it was YS! My best YS buy was 4 packs of smoked salmon reduced from £5.99 to £1.55 a pack. I love smoked salmon but don't have it very often as it is so expensive, now I won't feel as bad for treating myself over the next couple of months when I have it!
A total of £164.29/£250 spent so far this month so should still make it under budget this month.

I've only spent £2 since Sunday on milk and I hope to get through to Saturday without spending.
I want to be able to stock up on the L!dl weekend offer so we have been running our freezer down. We love the pepper topped joint and for £1.99 they are a bargain.
I still have a few KG of chicken thighs though so I need to look up recipes to start using them up.£36/£240

Yesterday was first time back at work after the plague. Did a short day but was still wiped out when I got home. Crashed immediately, meaning a good long nights sleep and a NSD.
Thinking there might be a spend of £1.10 today with the egg man, but I've not been in so might have missed him already this week. Also considering if i should drop out of getting eggs...
...What do people think? I can buy 6 high(ish) welfare eggs from Geoff, who comes round at work each week, and means I'm actually prompted to buy eggs, for £1.10.
Or i can buy 18 barn eggs from Sainsbobs for about the same price. Would need to actually go out and shop, but only every couple of weeks, but I'd likely spend at least a tenner.
WWYD?That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.
