What is the point in any of this if people can ust do this . I havent done anything wrong, and i would hve paid the bloody fine if i had recieved the papers. No papers where receieved. I have only paid because i have debt collectors harrasing me and threatening with bailifs.
You've paid it now. As far as I know it's too late to do anything about it. You needed to follow the advice on here and apply to have it set aside.
Best you can do now is learn to live with it and speak to someone about your depression. What will your verse be?

I received nothing from them and if i had i would have paid it to have it gone. I have ever ever felt like killing myself until now. I feel like im being screwed over for nothing.
That wouldve been one of the arguments you could've used to have the CCJ set aside (ie that you didn't enter into a contract with PE) but you've paid it now.
Paying means you've admitted being liable for the debt so you have no chance of having it removed.
I'm sure any reasonable employer would consider hiring you if you explain what has happened. What will your verse be?

Great news and a good result. What will your verse be?

I havent done anything wrong,
You most certainly have. Coming on here was a mistake, this is a MONEY SAVING forum . Money saving has no place in dealing with a CCJ, especially if you are self employed.
My advice would be to seek legal advice immediately to see whether PE or DVLA have done anything wrong, and if they have, sue the pants off them. I am sure that you can claim for it against income.
I do not know why regulars insist of advising people with CCJs from PE to D-I-Y, the effects of getting things wrong can be very expensive, and this is not an area in which you should be seeking to save money. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Good result. Did you come to some kind of agreement to pay it if PE agreed to to set aside?0

This is not the first time someone on this forum has been successful in having a CCJ set aside after having paid the CCJ out. It is simply not true that paying out a CCJ prevents you from later having it set aside.New members, please refer to "sticky" threads that are alwasys "stuck" at the top of this forum0

Couldnt agree more.
The judge said there are 2 reasons to have it set aside. If you have acted promptley and have a genuine reason for not having responded. Or if the claimant is happy for the matter to be set aside.
Parking eye are scum, and they agreed to have it set aside , albiet hidden away in about 10 pages of reasons why they shoudnt have to pay costs.
They didnt even turn up despite it being in preston court.Waddle you do eh?0
