It's nothing to do with our pride about not paying Parking Eye.
Many many people have received these CCJs recently, it's another underhand tactic by a company which is effectively pond life in suits.
We've told you how to get the CCJ set aside. It's worked for many other unfortunate victims who've come on here with the same set of circumstances. Paying them completely f*cks up your chances of getting it set aside.
The best you can aim for now (unless you can get this payment back somehow) is to get the CCJ marked as satisfied, and I suspect they'll want the full judgement amount before they'll do that.
Good luck.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
and pray that PE don,t claim to be bankrupt and disappear in about 6 weeks when more people start wanting there monies back0

As others have said, your choices were to EITHER ...
Pay the judgment and get it marked as satisfied;
OR
Apply to get the default judgment set aside.
Not AND, never in ANY way AND.0 -
I'm sorry to say that nobody here told you to pay it. In that respect you went off piste and didn't follow the advice.
You could have had it set aside then at a subsequent hearing paid before getting a ccj.
Sadly now you have a ccj that is next to impossible to get overturned.0 -
Debt collectors are powerless individuals and you have not broken any laws. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Parking eye are essentially responsible for my death here. And not only them, the courts how they can inssue these judgments with zero knowledge of the victim
They could send bailiffs around to enforce the CCJ, but that's only an option if you don't pay and the CCJ remains in force. Having it set aside would have prevented that from happening just the same as paying it does.
The court issues a judgment when it is satisfied you owe the money and haven't paid it in accordance with the contract you entered into. Your personal circumstances don't matter at that point.
They take your circumstances into account when ordering how much you have to pay and how often.
You should not have paid the CCJ.What will your verse be?

I will sign up, but its pointless to me as my life is over. I have worked realy had to get to where i am now only to be blacklisted from half the positions i would be going for and blackmarked financially.
What is the point in any of this if people can ust do this . I havent done anything wrong, and i would hve paid the bloody fine if i had recieved the papers. No papers where receieved. I have only paid because i have debt collectors harrasing me and threatening with bailifs.Waddle you do eh?0
