Aww thanks lovelies!
I haven't had much time lately to update as I have been making the most out of this glorious weather and walking my legs off. My interview went great today and it looks like I might be offered the position. I have another job interview on the 29th which I would actually prefer even though it would mean a pay drop from my last job.
I will try and make some time to give a proper update. Love you all

*runs around squealing* We believe in you!! I want the update on the job asap. You can always take it and then go for the interview anyway right
Glad you have been enjoying yourself and walking. Good for the soul, all this sunshine. xx

Hi Everyone
So lots of things to tell you. The job interview with M&S went so well that they offered me the job. After a lot of thought though, I decided it really wasn't what I wanted and so I gratefully declined. I am praying I haven't made a huge mistake. I have another interview on Wednesday and a potential on tomorrow or Tuesday so fingers crossed.
In other news, I have finally decided to do something about my weight. I'm on a very strict diet this week and I should lose a stone. It will give me the kick start I needed to go onto weightobservers and I am keeping a diary of how I am doing. It's day two and it hasn't been too bad. Unfortunately I just lost it with OH.
He still isn't helping around the flat and now I'm on a diet, he's being a total jerk. I went to Mr A's today for extra fruit and salad. He puts a chocolate bar through and I had just told him I hadn't eaten and would die for some chocolate. He got this smug look on his face and then said "I thought you said I could eat whatever I wanted". I just let it go and we went home. So he goes to sleep for the rest of the afternoon.
Today I have done:
3 loads of washing
Loaded the dishwasher with enough dishes that three families could have come for dinner. (OH said he would do it and I got fed up of waiting).
Walked 2 miles.
Been on a diet which today consisted of a fruit smoothie and some chicken and salad.
Cooked a full chicken and made roast vegetables for OH.
Put out a load of wet laundry to dry.
So I come back from the kitchen and he starts throwing clean clothes around and then gives me this massive smirk as he eats a packet of sweets. I lost it. He shoved them in a drawer but I told him he could eat whatever he liked and stormed out saying I'd finish the laundry. There were a lot more f words in there.
Why can't he be supportive? I don't care if he eats sweets it the smirking that gets to me. I'm working so hard to make myself a better person and to do all the chores in the flat and he does sweet FA.
I'm sorry I only seem to come on here when I need to rant. I have been meaning to update everyone with a positive entry and it just ended up ranting.
I am proud of myself though. I am sticking to my diet and I am determined to lose the weight for my own sake. I'm 33 this year and it will cause more issues as I get older.
I hope you are all doing ok. I promise to try and get on here more often.

Hey you!!
I am with you on the super restrictive diet. Weigh in day for me tomorrow on week 1 and although it is for my health (migraines) it should kick my weight back down the 35 pounds or so necessary to make me feel a whole lot better about myself and healthier too!
As for the job, I am a bit.. because I would never have the guts to do that but I am very very proud of you for making a wise decision when you could have made another.
As for OH, no he does not have to be so smug and act that way. Him is the exact opposite. He feels guilty and tries hard not to eat things he knows I would kill for on a normal day. Tonight he even tried to go without a customary hot chocolate because I can't have it. I told him to stop it as it genuinely doesn't bother me what he or Jelly eat. I got sweets for my birthday. I opened a bag, handed them out to Him & Jelly then put them away in the cupboard for a few months from now when I can start to introduce a possibility of a treat like that once in a while. I don't feel hard done by. What I am doing is for me, and doesn't involve him or Jelly, but I appreciate the thought and courtesy and that is all your OH needs to do.
I am sorry but he seems to be a really childish jerk who expects you to be his mother.. and I have had one of those dumped on me by the MiL from hell. Only now, 6 years and one giant break up in is he finally starting to get some kind of maturity and self control. He is still a bit of a teenager but at least he does as he is asked even if he doesn't often think to do something before asked...
Am happy for you on the diet front hon. Persevere and you will succeed, in both this and finding yourself a job. Being positive is the key. So let go of the anger and remember your walk and how well you have been doing.
You are fab!! xxx
