I've been wondering this for a while, but I've been nervous to admit it too openly coz most people seem to think I'm crackers.
But from my recent lurking on the festive threads, I'm obviously not the only one on mse who loves Christmas... so here goes:
Am I alone in really, really loving wrapping Christmas presents? As in, it's a highlight of my festive preparations to sit surrounded by a selection of shiny paper, possibly too much sellotape and a big stash of ribbons.
A lot of people seem to view it as a chore, so am I the odd one?
Would love to hear your thoughts! :rotfl:

Hi, My name is Happytravelling and I am a wrapaholic!
My family can tell presents from me just by the fact that every join is covered by cellotape. Spending a Sunday afternoon, surrounded by presents, paper, cellotape and tags with a nice cuppa is bliss.... up until I cut a piece of wrapping paper too short by 3mm, then its like the world has ended and I throw a strop about having to wrap everything myself, even though I've declined any previous offer of help! There's something very satisfying about a pile of wrapped presents :-)August 2016 GC £249.70/£150
July 2016 GC £114.03/ £120
June 2016 GC £170.09/ £1750 -
I love it.. I'm not fantastic by any means but it gets me in the festive spirit:starmod:If you dance with the devil, the devil don't change. The devil changes you:starmod:0

I cannot wait until November, my wrapping routine starts first Sunday of November every year!
After a nice long bath, I love nothing more than pouring a glass of wine, slapping on the Xmas playlist, and getting my wrap bag out!
I do a few pressies each Sunday (whilst dh is at dominoes & dds are in bed) and it usually lasts until mid December!
I'm very particular about wrapping, I have an organizer bag, and all pressies are color coordinated! This year is good old red & gold, robins and reindeers!
I am a wrapaholic - and proud! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
I love it too. I first spend weeks finding the right paper, bows etc. then on the day ( and it takes most of it) ll pour myself a drink and put Christmas music on. Afterwards, I love sitting back and looking at them all under the tree! It feels great.0

I love wrapping paper, so much so one Christmas my friend just brought me wrapping paper-she wrapped up a couple of rolls for me and I was over the moon! Don't get me started on ribbons too!Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

Another wrapaholic here too! Do we need to start a support group? haha
I love sitting down with a christmas film on and doing my wrapping with lovely paper, ribbons and tags! It is all part of the christmas festive fun to me!0 -
I love the wrapping of the gifts. Every year I have a different style of wrapping, sometimes it is full of ribbons and bow's and fancy bag's. Everything is colour co-ordinated and I get remarks about my wrapping every year from friend and family.0

No because I always seem to master buying the most awkward shaped gifts ever!
But if any of you guys live near Warwickshire, I would happily provide, wine, nibbles, christmas chatter & christmas music in exchange for wrapping :rotfl:Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
I love it too
Christmas music, wrapping paper, tape, ribbons what's not to love. I taught my brother how to wrap properly a few years ago and his look great too.
Last year I even wrapped the school Christmas presents with another mum only a couple of hundred presents that night, it was great fun0
