I get genuinely confused why people think its wrong to need or have 2 people bringing in wages. I have never known any different. I think it's fine if people want an arrangement where there's only one wage earner and it's affordable to them.
It's not something I have ever felt aggrieved about? Maybe it's down to upbringing? My parents both always worked too, so it seems normal to me0 -

you are joking aren't you, the peeps on fb are very picky in the company they keep, when we are bored we like to play with locarr but locarr doesn't like the way we play so he blocks us!!!!!!!!
I wish he'd block me. Instead he keep sending me friend requests and sharing my posts.
I keep telling him I'm not interested but it falls on deaf ears. :rotfl::rotfl:N1LDA0 -

I do not know how we would live on one wage for any length of time or why we would :eek:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

If it takes a pay freeze to get the country back in its feet then that's what it takes but it should apply accross the board. From the very top right down to the bottom. Maybe people would feel less aggrieved if that were the case.
I agree.. and I would put the bankers in with the rest of us.100 -

I too was brought up in a family where everyone works. And all 5 of my siblings and their wives and husband work too. I'm single and have been for over 8 years, but I too work and have always done so, and would never dream of having a relationship with someone who is work shy. And I certainly hope I am teaching my DS that the only way to progress in life is for him to work too.
