I do not know how we would live on one wage for any length of time or why we would

We live ok but it's all down to other factors, the main one being that we did both work so hard in the past and had savings to fall back on. Had we not both worked in the past our situation might be very different.
Maybe everything does happen for a reason? :)

I relocated the last of the alcohol to my larder now I have the space.

Leftovers from girls after each year at uni or parties, they never wanted to take back bottles that had been opened. :sighs:

I have a very varied drinks list now.

    Raspberry absolut vodka

    De kuyper blue curacao

    Cactus jacks apple sour

    Corkys Sour cola cube liquer

    Archers

    Bacardi

I even have some Grenadine syrup. Think will have to look into making cocktails. :rotfl:

I chose not to work when my kids were young, but was lucky that we live where we do and we did not have huge financial demands on us.
We were broke, hiding behind the door broke, but it was worth it for us.
We didn't have foreign holiday, or any holidays for that matter, but we managed.
I think the thing is that we were lucky that we were in a position we could make the choice.
I would hate to be bringing up kids in today's world, I really don't know how folks manage it.
And, my oh is still in the armed forces, and will never be paid enough.

Party at yours then :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You'll have to share some fizz with me though. I wouldn't touch any of that stuff :p :rotfl:

Just remembered I saw a bloke buying 40 bottles of Lambrini in Ts today  he asked the guy stocking the shelves for 8 more bottles as there was only 32 on the shelf

Is whisky making a come back?

Just seen David beckham in an advert for Haig Whisky........
The ad was filmed just miles from here, Fairclaire's homeland. Beautiful area.
