I think we're all embracing our inner tortoise - I embraced mine from hospital with tonsillitis
Gingernutty - there's no weight gone back on and that's a massive positive

Sneezing, snotty and still coughing.
It's a grim one. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
I am very impressed gingernutty. You have made great progress you must be very proud.
Have you thought of doing a little more walking. How do you get to work. If by public transport why not get off one stop early.
Good luck, keep up the good work. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Still sneezing, still coughing and still very breathless.
I had trouble walking down the road today.
I am very fed up. It feels like all the progress I've made is just going backwards.
Still haven't put any weight on though. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Have you been to the docs?

Yes.
I went on an unrelated matter but she told me I was doing everything correctly, I'm using my inhalers appropriately and my lung function wasn't too badly affected.
It's a bad cold which is affecting normal people quite badly, it's going to affect asthmatics like me very badly.
There's not much else that can be done. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Hope you feel better soon!

How are you doing now gingernutty?
I am a size 24, 5'6" and I have joined a gym too. I am 30 in November and want to go on a shopping spree and have nice photos taken with my children- I have avoided the camera since they were born 5 years ago other than a photo that I posed for at Christmas which I hate.
I joined my local leisure centre- it is fab. I did my first class this morning- aqua fit- and loved it. I had my express gym induction this afternoon so will be going in tomorrow afternoon for some cardio.
I hope to complete couch to 5k this year, but is no biggie if I don't!:jMummy to 2 small 4 year old bundles of mischief!:j0 -

My nose is still making snurkling noises.
Wherever I go around town, someone has a horror story about how bad they feel and how long they've had this sodding cold for..
I get breathless walking down the road. It's embarrassing.
I'm better than I was though.
I'm hoping to get back in there on Saturday. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
