The TESCO voucher ANTAX site no longer displays the collated vouchers. Has anyone else got :)copies of the vouchers.

    ONCE AGAIN CONFLICTING INFORMATION

    Thank you for your email.

We have confirmed that the answer below (which is what has been posted on
internet message boards) is correct. This has been confirmed by customer
    service operations.

"We accept coupons which have been printed from the Internet. Brand name
products - we are happy to accept one coupon, even if you have not
    purchased
the product. However, the coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the
    item.
If you present more than one identical coupon, then you must purchase the
    same
    number of products.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards

  • I have gotta say this is rather like printing money, and I feel I have rather honed the saving potential.

    1) I have improved the graphics on my versions of the coupons so that the barcodes all scan now.

    2) I only spend small cash amounts usually under £10 and redeem as many vouchers as possible. I generally get at least 25% to 30% of my total bill.

    3) I am now stocking up on non perishables and going around the tills upto three times a shopping trip.

    4) I use 3 different Tescos and 2 different Asda's

The acceptance of coupons depends very much on the individual till operators, I tend to go for young lads, but occasionaly I get a refusal. I dont argue anymore just stop the entire transaction and walk away, then walk back into the store and repeat the excercise at another till.

Maybe I am getting carried away, but like I said earlier this is like printing money.and an opportunity that cannot be missed.

I could do with a few tips on the non perishables though...I now have plenty of coffee and toiletries...and now starting on tinned stuff..any other good ideas?

::) I have used the vouchers at Tesco Shrewsbury, the till runner had to check with the manager but they did accept most them without any quibbling once they had the all clear, the lady on the till even asked where she could get them from! Martin, you should soon have another convert! problem now is I wanted to get the next lot for my next shopping trip, but the site is down, has anyone got any answers apart from pestering Alison, who i am sure will be brassed of by now!

Has anyone managed to get the vouchers to scan at the self-serve checkouts? Am going to visit my grandparents soon, and their Tesco's has self-scan tills, so wanted to know if it was worth trying up there!

All I can say to CaptainFishy is that you must have a lot of time on your hands (if due to no fault of your own please accept my aplogies) to do multiple little shops, and then repeat the process when they turn down your £3.00 discount - I would expect that if stores do get to recognise the regular customers........

BTW - Definitely a top tip is to sharpen up the vouchers - if they scan there's normally no problems.
What should I put in here that won't upset people.........

    In defence of Captain-Fishy.
I totally agree with him as I do the same as him apart from stopping the transaction if refused.
Have been doing this since about march and saved hundreds of pounds.
So we are not really talking small fry here.
This is a licence to print money.
So far this year I have saved £506
    Five hundred and six pounds.
Anyone who is not using these coupon must be mad as far as I am concerned.

    Tesco are driving me mad!

Went in today to do my weekly shop, handed over my coupons as usual only to be informed that Tesco have now changed their policy and will only accept 1 coupon unless actually purchasing the product. >:(

This is not a happy situation.

That is what their company policy states.
That they will be happy to accept ONE coupon even if you dont purchase the product.

So obviously as everyone has been contacting them with regards to this point which has been policy for a least 6 months as far as I know, they have finally decided to stick to it.

Shame that everyone couldnt be happy with whatever they were able to redeem at their particular store.
