Have I done something wrong? I just tried the site where the vouchers have been collated and got a 404 message - has the 'service' provided by Alison's mate expired?0

Hi
This is my first post as a newbie to the site. But today I asked in my local Safeway / Morrisons if they`d accept any of these vouchers I had printed off and after long enough for me to feel my beard growing and the next customer to get extremely ratty hey presto they did accept most of them. But ....
They had rung some head office type place and they would not be accepting any more of them. So a bit of a one off. Will try again at a Tesco near me and see but it seems reading the runes that this one may be waning?

I assume you need to use a Tescos clubcard to qualify for these vouchers?0

I also used them in a local Tesco about 2 weeks ago. Again after a long period of frantic deliberation they accepted some but not all. The crisp one was out of date and I hadn`t realised. OOps. They wouldn`t let me have the Tesco meal one as I hadn`t bought a Tesco meal and the other crisp type one was too blurred. We then had a debate about the expiry date on another but they held firm. I got about £1.50 off in the end but it was really quite embarrassing. Because it was me up against the till operator and her supervisor. Two to one and they wouldn`t back down. It didn`t seem to have anything to do with being a Tesco clubcard holder though. Just tried them in the Safeway today on a total whim really as I posted earlier. Not sure if I can cope with the hassle again though.

As Safeway is part of the Morrissons family, they adopt their policies so you probably won't get any joy whatsoever. Morrissons won't even accept "real" vouchers for products that you don't buy! Shocker ;DThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
