Went to Tesco's last night and presented the coupons as normal. The checkout assistant said that they'd just been instructed not to accept any more 'internet' vouchers. I said that they'd been accepted okay last week, so he gave them to his surpervisor who went off and after several minutes, she returned to confirm this. The knuckle-dragger in the queue behind me was getting annoyed and I was made to feel like I was trying to defraud them.... it was all quite embarassing. :-[

On top of all that they seem to have stopped doing the 5p off petrol vouchers...

All I can say is that I won't be going to Tescos any more (unless they misprice the batteries again ;))... I shall be returning to Waitrose who are not that much more expensive for most things and seem to have better quality produce anyway.
Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.

Does anybody know if these vouchers are accepted in any of the Edinburgh stores?

I've only tried the Colinton one. Once they took a bundle and then two days later only took one. I'd go with the other people from this thread and pick a youngster!
No reliance should be placed on the above.

If you've ever had the pleasure of shopping in Croydon (Purley) Tescos, then you may well have met Julie, the assistant Manager..

Last night, she told me to go and do my shopping elsewhere, and walked away from me mid-conversation.

This was while we were debating, fully politely, of course, her not accepting any vouchers. She had in fairness told me this version of their 'policy' before, and said I should raise it with Head office if I thought otherwise. Which quite clearly myself and about 5000 other Money Savers have done. Still, even waving an email from an identifiable member of their customer services in front of her nose was not enough for her to co-operate.

Makes you want to scream, doesn't it? At Julie.....

I'm not about to write a letter complaining, as we really don't want a formal 'Stop' put to the Tescos voucher gag. Still, on the plus side however, the Wishvalue vouchers all scanned through - I might have to visit that site again....
