Morning diary and thanks Abba hopefully they will throw us to the lions quite soon lol..
I sat down and had a natter with Hubby last night about clearing our B/C Friday as its payday and we don't really have anything major coming out of our account this month no council tax, no child maintenance, rent is covered week in week out elsewhere never to fall behind with it, if we put all pots together we can clear it in one go Friday then we won't hit another interest payment, it will only save us approx £20 but getting rid of that card means so much more.
We will then have 2 minor debts which I can clear through the month, which will leave our loan ,overdraft ,Marisota and Argos. Argos I am happy to let tick away at a few quid a month ONCE THEY HAVE SOLD OUR DEBT ON!!, and the same with Marisota, the overdraft I am paying at £16 a month, but I do need to find out where to send my loan payment before they get shirty and cancel the lower payment offer plus need to make sure they are not charging interest on either. This will obviously deter paying non-interest debts e.g. MY credit union loan which is on my hit list for March at least 50% and then the 2nd half in April.. So this may change but at least things are on the way down.
I am itching to start an emergency fund but my priority has to be clearing these debts, we don't drive at the moment and both work within a 10 min walk of our jobs and school so don't need to have a car fund so I am just going to wing it for a few months I think.
Things to do tonight after work.. check letter regarding O/D offer of lower payments and find address to pay loan.Weightloss -36.5lb/64lb.

Come on cheque hurry up and clear !! I have paid most of my B/C balance off I have £255.33 owing now have dropped credit limit right down and as soon as this cheque clears I will clear it completely and zero the limit. We had a lil PPI cheque drop on mat this morning, only a few hundred but it was a very small loan about 10 years ago my hubby took out for a thousand pound he had a third back pretty much just goes to prove it don't matter how small a loan you took out it's worth applying, we have hope for another 2 loans but if nothing comes of it so be it... I am undecided now whether to pay argws or just leave it go to DCA and build a lil savings pot up and actually stop scrimping but stay not spending also??
Hubby is saving £2 for our hol spending money so I don't need to have to worry about that in October he is good saving those refuses to spend them full stop I cave at the first hurdle lol Christmas will be covered again this year mainly by park vouchers and commission so we really can just concentrate on sorting out our finances this year..
We are going shopping for some bits needed for house plus new school shoes for D/S and some new uniform but quite chuffed as we have a lot of vouchers left from Christmas so will spend those for most. A friends hubby just got my d/s tablet working again he had locked it and we couldn't reset it to factory settings so that's one thing we don't have to replace.. And I had Nexxt vouchers here so bought a new halogen oven which we needed Christmas time as ours burnt out but used vouchers instead so at the moment my spending is def under control..Weightloss -36.5lb/64lb.

Afternoon diary, brr its cold here in Wales, had a lovely lazy day cooked dinner took the dog for a walk and now paying bills online rent and dinner money for month. Waiting for cheque to clear to completely clear B/C, and then end of week to pay a chunk off argws that will be it for big payments for month will chip away still at curvissa everytime theres odd numbers in account it gets thrown there as long as it's over a pound bet they are sick of updating totals now lol
Hubby is made up as he has bagged the managers job permanently in work so his thrown into the deep end and swim not sink was stressy but he has come out with flying colours, he seems to be enjoying it anyway and I know he is def enjoying 9-5 life for sure.. We will all benefit come the summer evenings, makes a huge difference mentally as well as physically not going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark, brrrrrrrrr I hate winter !!!
January has been a good month i HAVE REIGNED IN SPENDING MASSIVELY although we did only just scrape through in the black this month, but we paid off so so much more than we expected to be able to we have kept up with all payments stepC set up apart from our BC loan but that is work in progress, Our cupboards and freezer is full to the top with a ridiculous amount of food but I can't hold up my hands to all the buying there hubby fetches home so so much from work and free so can't grumble at him to much, shame it wasn't healthy food !! This is something I really have to work on is trying to get through what is here I have meal planned for rst of week and need minimal if anything desperately so may just wing it out til next Friday, fruit and veg bowls are full, I do need some yoghurt and sandwich fillers tho, hmmm decisions huh lol... Decluttering is coming along down stairs now kitchen had a rejig thrown out a huge old george foreman and had a new halogen oven from Next out of vouchers, upstairs is next on the list bedroom by bedroom, bathroom needs decorating but will leave that til spring and we have paint here for it, just a new shower curtain and bits to brighten up but not until Argws, moorcroft and Curvissa is cleared.Hopefully end of Aprilish... So much month not enough cash so springs to mind lol
Time to snuggle up with hubby for half hour body heat and all that lol xWeightloss -36.5lb/64lb.

Thanks Monz, can't wait for some nice sunny weather now to brighten the days up. Hope all is well with you I do read most diaries but struggling to fit everything in at mo..
Back to work today had an horrendous bad night sleep and nightmares but twas my own fault all I drank yesterday was strong coffee and pepsi max so no wonder. I can still vividly remember the dream too which is really odd for me even down to faces !!
Still totally on plan with slimming world really enjoying the foods this week, the utube slimming world vlogs are inspiring to keep going and also loving instagram !! May seem sad to many but it's my kinda thing. Diet coke chicken and salad for tea yum!!
Hoping Hubby don't want to go shopping after work I really am to cold to go wandering to Clarks, Argos, sports direct etc I am sure we can put it off til next weekend again. My D/S wants to go to Argos to buy some infinity figures and does need to go get shoes but hoping he will forget too ~~>Mean mam lol
I am so desperate for a Samsung tablet Hubby and DS have one and use theirs all the time, and seen one in Currys yesterday for £79 Hubby said have it but all I can think of is that could nearly clear Curvissa off, I know my depression caused a lot of the debt and the guilt I feel is nobodys business I really really hope one day I can be totally at peace with treating myself to something from time to time, it causes so much bad feeling between us and I know it all comes from being totally brassic as a young teen and young mam and scrimping for every penny, worrying if there would be enough food to last the weekend etc, but although I am in a silly place debtwise thanks to MSE I am not afraid of being in debt now and everything is in place to clear it off, if someone threatens me with doorstep collector calling I don't cry myself to sleep or panic as all household bills are up to date utilities and such if Argos or Barclays wants to take me to court then so be it lol I wonder if there is any self help books for self-acceptance around I feel that will help me mentally, at the moment I am focussed and on plan foodwise I always find they go hand in hand but I do need to find coping mechanisms that don't end in the bottom of a chocolate box or shopping basket... hmmm ..Weightloss -36.5lb/64lb.

Morning diary, common sense has returned no more talk of silly shopping type stuff , I am back to debt busting ..:D
I HAVE JUST CLEARED MY BARCLAY CARD DEBT FOR THE FINAL TIME !!! card has been dropped to a £200 limit and as soon as this months interest is added which I have no doubt will happen it will be paid and cancelled completely then we have no more credit cards yay !!!! :T:D
Argws is my final bug bare for this month I have just rang them to pay a chunk off, and they want my hubby to ring back, every other bluuudy time they offer the annoying automated payment option, I swear these things happen to wind us up grrr... But I will get on the case when hubby is home from work, I think our total is something like £1150ish I can clear half of that this month and then plod along for a few months paying that off as interest drops significantly when we are back under £600 and I really am fed up of stressing about debts all the time, the credit cards have gone steps are in place to clear the loan and overdraft, cabot will no doubt crawl out of woodwork and finally contact me about my payments and my flooring is being paid off monthly as is my credit union loan. I just have to keep up with totals monthly now and dates as late payments drive my hubby crazy and it is wasted money at the end of the day isn't it.:cool:Weightloss -36.5lb/64lb.
