Becca oh no not another DH into RC cars, my house is full of the stuff, impressed that your DD has a go too, we were chatting about that the other day that there isn't a single young girl at the club my DP has just took over, hasn't been for a long time, shame as usually when girls have a go they are better than the boys :D maybe that's why they don't encourage it. Great news about the book, wish I had the talent/time.

Well it's nice here for a change so second wash loads in and first is on the line, has took me longer than usual to wake up this morning but this cold is still lingering on. DS2 took the dogs on the field with the ball while I was hanging that out so saved me a job wearing them out a bit.
One day I might be more organised...........

Re the names.. they each have 1 middle name..and the initials do this..

    BA
    AC
    CD
    DM
    MR
    RA
    AJ
    JL
    LK

I have an unused 'H' and 'B' for middle names and an unused 'K' for the first name.. Hubby did pick most of the names and I was quite willing to go along with it so long as they weren't too horrendous.. I did say no to Erastus and Erasmus... :D

    Morning all

two loads of washing on line (drying well) and one load in the machine.

I started typing this ages ago, so it's Good Afternoon now!

Two loads of washing now put away and the third lot is on the line.

    Dinner in oven.

Bins emptied and dustpanned kitchen floor where I dropped crumbs. Don't really need to vacuum today.

    Hot now!

Ok, having a bad day! Caught my baby toe on the worktop that we have propped up against the wall this morning, and it still hurts even after an ice pack. :( Did the second coat of paint in the bathroom and went outside to sand and paint one of the panels that covers the pipes with gloss, got inside and found we had no white spirit! OH had promised that he had put out everything I needed, but neglected to mention that we didn't have that. I called him up at work to ask where he had put it, and he said we didn't have any and that I shouldn't have sanded the panel as it was made of asbestos!!! Went outside to find about 30 thunderbugs stuck all over my newly painted panel, so will have to redo it now anyway.

Have just hung out a load of washing and now it looks like it is going to rain. My friend is coming to pick me up for her hen-night at 3, and I wanted to have the bathroom all finished so she could see it, and now it won't be done in time.

Sorry to moan, needed to vent to someone, and I know that someone will make me feel better soon.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    You vent away!

It hurts so much when you bang your toes doesn't it. I never know whether to dance about or swear - or both. Hope it's not broken, although I don't think they do anything for broken toes do they? Maybe strap it to the next one if it really hurts.

My DH was in a bit of a funny mood today but I told him he should go back to bed if he couldn't cheer up. He took the dog out and was better when he got back:D

Thanks pollybear. Just hoping that my high heels that I'm wearing tonight don't squeeze it too much. We've all got to dress as police women as that is my friend's real-life job. Am looking forward to it, as I can't remember the last time I went out clubbing (3 years? maybe more) and I'm only 24.

Yep, DH and DD2 are both into RC racing. DH raced at the world championship in Dubai 3 years ago. (came in 7th) Lucky man spent two weeks in Dubai, courtasy of Kyosho who was sponsoring him! Last year it was paris.
He's got the garden shed to his disposal for all his cars and tools. DD2 has been into it since she could walk, and yes she is quite good! :D

So far I have done the shopping, folded a big mountain of washing. Can't hang anything out here as it keeps raining off and on, so I'm using the dryer.
Cleaned the loo, and sweeped the floor.

Got rid of the baby crib as folks came to pick it up, so that frees ups a bit more space upstairs.

    Time for a wee break..

    Becca
