Wondered where you were hiding Pigpen, shoes, erm, sparkly and red, 'Dorothy' style
Hmm still not much done and DP is coming home for dinner for a change, which means if I don't spend time with him he'll moan, don't get me wrong I don't mind but can't just ignored him, so have left my room etc but kidiwinks in bed thankfully and they've taken all their books etc upstairs with them, this reward chart is working wondersWhen he goes back to work I am going to run myself a nice bath (my Me time as usually I only have time for quick showers), put the rest of the laundry away while it is running and clean all but the bath, then wipe the bath when I am done, might have time to rearrange shelves while I am there if not it can go on tomorrows list with the rest of it (uniform sort through will be done tomorrow) Sunday at the airshow so no work on Sunday for me
apart from dailies, making packed lunches, seeing to the dogs, running round after kids) See what did I say about plans, wonder how this one will turn out!
One day I might be more organised...........

It's finally Friday and I need to flop. A late night out last night and a busy-head day today. Neither body nor mind are fit for anything other than 2 hours of Midsommer Murders.
Tomorrow is another day and I'll have to pull my finger out early before my week end visitors arrive.
Enjoy your ME time, get that 'taking' and 'giving' balance sheet back to some equilibrium.

Hi Everyone,
We had loads of teenagers here again overnight so I stayed upstairs til they had all gone home. Sorted a mountain of clothes to the correct rooms. Okay I had a bit of help from DD and DS2 whose friends were here. We are back down to 11 now which is getting better. DD and I spent this afternoon trying to fill in DLA form. Its a relief that she is home as she can help me try to concentrate on it.
I think pigpen needs to be warned that the more kids you have the more you seem to accumulate. We never seem to have just ours here. Why do they all want to come and stay here? I gave the visitors washing and drying up to do so they could help our kids and they still like it here!
DH is choosing the easy option while we have all these extras here and hasn't come home yet. He will be in the pub. I know he needs a break from it all but he is out at work all day and he gets away from here already. He did take me last night when he realise that all the extra people were getting to me and I think I was going into teacher mode. I did teach all of the kids who were here except one.
Todays list was
post parcel-packaged up but forgot to take it
[strike]sort clothes[/strike]-there were so many on chair in our bedroom DH said we almost could do without curtains:rotfl:
DLA application-started but a long way to go
sort paperwork
EMA forms
[strike]Student loan application for DS3[/strike]
[strike]check bank account[/strike]
[strike]Go out somewhere[/strike]-I went to local co-op!
Kids to do own rooms-no spare room, lounge and kids den also being used as bedrooms this week.
Emmie and lil_me thanks for info regarding aids for the house and lil_me for the link to leaflet. I haven't heard form anyone yet but hope they can help me.
rach, I hope your headache is better soon

I've been doing church summer club runs, shopping in the outside, taken the grubs to park and not had much time for anything else!!
Oh, we had DD2's 10th birthday party on Thursday too.. took me a whoke hour to organise the party.. not bad for me.. then it only took about 20 minutes to tidy away their mess.
Today has been the first sunny day in weeks so we scootled off to park for an hour before tea.. chased ducks, ate ice cream and played on the swings.. I did struggle trying to keep 3 swings going at the same time!!!
Both wm's are on.. I've caught up on the clothing washing.. just the beds need to be changed now.. all 9 of them!!! DD5 is almost out of nappies so I have to put her cot down to a bed and then she can be night-trained as well.. Or I may bottle it and buy another pack and put it off another 2 months lol (she is 3 in November and been dry during the day for about 8 months so I am just being lazy, lol)
The DW is on and the TD.. washing is also on the line
I may go S&S the kitchen while hubby wobbles his stuff upstairs and then I'll go get me a shower... loo first..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

They all look lovely, I forget what my boys are called and I only have three! DD is relieved I don't mix her up with the boys. Numbers are a much better idea. :rotfl:I don't know how you manage to remember yours. My cousins all have six kids each so when we go to the park etc people think we are a school outing. 22 kids from four of us and I am the one with the small family.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
