    Hi Everyone,

Well DH has popped out to see his mom and dad and has took DD with him, so got a a quiet couple of hours to myself :D. Had a lovely lie-in today, DD has been waking up at about 2.30am for the past few nights and getting in with us, she takes forever to drop back off lol so hubby got up with her this morning and let me sleep in ..... bliss. If she does it tonight, she's straight back in her own bed.

Today's to do list... here goes... (I like to have a good go at it all on a friday, so I can chill at the weekend lol

S&S toilet and bathroom, vac and mop
Wash up, Wipe over kitchen work tops, vac and mop
make beds, tidy up toys in DD's room
Living room, wipe over desk, tv, shelves and table, general tidy up and vac
Hallway, straighten coats up and vac
Feed the cat then kick him out lol
Feed the dog and take her for a walk
Doing some Lamb, spuds veg etc for dinner tonight so will need to get cracking on that later on
At some point, I want to have a nice long bath and straighten my hair, resembling worzel gummage at the mo :rotfl:
Got a load of washing to do and some to put away too.

Hopefully going to see a friend for a few drinks tomorrow night, haven't seen her for a few months so should be nice to catch up and have a laugh.
Want to keep working with DD on her speech over the holidays too, so will prob get some flash cards out later and do some signing with her too, need to print out some more pecs symbols too.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Em

Well I forced myself over the shop and paid the papers. I actually enjoyed the walk when I got out there, nice to see some sun for a change.

Stripped spare room bed (in the machine now - the first two loads are dry and put away). Managed to shift wardrobe back a couple of inches so I could pull the bed away from the wall. It gets a bit black when no air gets round there but it seems to gradually work its way back. I washed the wall down with bleach and rinsed it off. I've got the window open wide now and there's some nice fresh air blowing through. That's the best I can do. It's such a small room that the only place the bed will go is along the window wall. If you put it another way you wouldn't be able to open the door!

Hugs to everyone, especially Lil_me - you have a real plateful!

Having caught up on the thread, I have just time to say that it is a month since I last had Diet Coke! I am officially diet coke free and will be amending my sig.

Now, the house is a tip, full of junk and I need to find space for a bureau, an organ and a cooker. Sigh.

:T Woohooo well done hev, that month has flown over hasn't it. You can't possibly go back now, you're what I would definately call officially DC FREE!!!

Not done much, garden full of kids who keep running in and out telling tales, some little ones who are between 3 and 5 decided to cause havoc, smashing bottles outside my gate and trying to damage my fence so had to deal with them

Ponds done (eww cleaning out manky filter) lunches been and gone, DP gone to work, meal plans done, shopping list next I think, tempted to just order online to save hassle as I don't need any meat etc, DPs razor blades he needs  which are about £15 I think will no doubt bump the price up for offers.
One day I might be more organised...........

Oh blimey you're all way ahead of me, I've done 3 more loads of washing, took the dogs out twice, ordered the groceries and that is about all so far!

Sat confused for a bit trying to decide what courses to do next via the OU etc as part of my degree, half an hour on the phone to them to find out they don't start until february and I have until October to decide! So why send me a letter out last week!!!! Well I've left it as I can't decide :rotfl: so waste of time that was.

My boys now in, don't know where the other kids vanished to, pleased to see the back of them tbh. Must crack on with something...........sat in bomb site just isn't motivating me.

OK so this is the first time I've dared look into this thread, anything re cleaning frightens me! I'm starting with level 1 and going to stick with it which will give me confidence to maybe consider going to level 2 one day

When I get home from work this evening I shall go with your list and vacuum the floors, only the bits I can see as I doubt I will have time for anything else. After all Friday night is Eastenders, Corrie and 2 Big Bro night!

    afternoon all

i've done v little from my list, got back from the meeting i was chairing and had developed awful headache. paracetomol hasn't touched it, though i realised i'd not had lunch so that could have been it. OH arrives at 8 or even 7.30 and nothing is done! he told me to just lie down and he'd sort out dinner etc but i'll see how i go.

really want to get at least some of my sermon for sunday sorted as it will eat into the weekend if not, but card to think straight with pounding head and painful eyes! maybe i'll go to the post office and put the recycling out instead!

jo1972 welcome :) hope you enjoy joining us, pop back to this thread on Sunday night and the new list should be up for next week aswell as a link on this thread to it, or of course as some do you can work from last weeks if that is easier.

Rach ((Hugs)) could be that you haddn't eaten but sounds more like a migraine, have you tried a dark room ? I find it helps to sit in one when I have a migraine. Take it easy honey no point making yourself worse or that will eat into the weekend more.

Well I've done some more and as I was checking some books for DP I decided to pop back in and strike them off, woohoo looks much better now! Boys dinner going in in a mo, then going to get them to help do their room & their PC room before bath time, do the bathroom while they are in the bath and my room/laundry as they are going to bed. Sounds like a plan, saying that my plans rarely work :rotfl:

yeah i think you're right lil_me, i seem to have started with migraines recently. i don;t think they're particularly serious ones but they do get me down. lack of sleep probably doesn't help!

i'm going to go to the PO and then sort out a few bits for my sermon, prep the dinner and then lie down and OH can cook it! he is on the early train which helps. in fact, the PO can wait til tomorrow i think. will just do what NEEDS doing!
