DH has gone out to wargames this evening - this week it's a Victorian science fiction game "In Her Majesty's Name." They're all barking mad :rotfl:
Ooh, now that looks really interesting.:o
Bear in mind Mr LW and I first met at Dungeons & Dragons; with that, you make up your own character, and mine over the years have variously been: Lyssa Blackthorn, Estsanatlehi, Hazel Nutt, Stella Artois and Fionnuala na Yallochan. Mr LW's have included: Legless John, Harris Tweed, Douglas Fir, Straffe Hendrik and Jack Daniels.:D

Another busy day in the frizzle house. Gave the kitchen a quick once over after yesterday. Wudupa. Dw x1, wm x 2.
I have spent all day finishing off ds2's room. He now has a big boy room! Everything has come out and everywhere has been cleaned and hoovered. Then found everything a home and bought all the toys up from the living room. Living room is looking a lot clearer although still a bit of work to do tomorrow.
Then made a start on ds1's room. I boxed lots of toys up that he no longer plays with but not quite ready for ds1. This meant that I could tidy away most of his birthday toys. Haven't touched his wardrobe and still a few piles to sort out.hopefully by the end of this weekend that willbe four rooms decluttered and looking lovely!

Yesterday I achieved almost nothing, except making a very nice SW moussaka for tea - and Valli, I cooked it in two 2-portion dishes rather than one larger one so that I could freeze one meal for another week :)

How very strange. I have just been browsing the tinternet for a moussaka recipe to cook over the weekend :)

*Fanfare* I have completed my Flying list this week.:D
I agree with those who have bad things to say about Scamtander:mad::mad::mad: - blighters tried to screw Mr LW to the wall; they didn't bargain on him having his pet Rottweiler (me) along for protection though.;) Long story short, we ended up getting the Ombudsman involved.

Very well done on completing your list this week :T

Re Santybank - I bank with them and so far have not really had much bother with them until recently. There was a problem in moving the date to repay my card each month, but they apologised for this and now I am on a 0% credit card for 18 months - still with cashback - as a recompense for the bother. TBH it may be that the staff in my local branch are really good and put themselves out to get things sorted quickly.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

I have done all the daily lists this week apart from the bleep ironing !!

    My list (no particular order)

Sort waterproof cover for outside storage box
Chase up water overflow NDN - plumber came Wednesday/NDN out ! Think this on-going :(
    Contact PPL for DH
Source new duvet for spare room
    Sort linen cupboard
    Order another suitcase

Practice Spanish - made a start
    Do prompt cards for Spanish

Catch up with surveys - made a start
    Do something new

    Check on c/c statement date
Ironing - a mountain now

    Work Monday
    Work Tuesday
    Work Wednesday
    Work Thursday

    October Challenge

    (1) clear out the balcony boxes, refill and plant loads of dillydaffs - FINISHED :j
    (2) Sort Room of Doom for good !! Done 4 hours

    (3) Sort both freezers, run down and defrost - started
    (4) Finish and hang thermal curtain linings for spare room - Done one

    Morning lovelies :)

Been off sick this week and ive come to the realisation that I need to give up my school job, one job too many and was only ever a temporary stop gap to boost my wage at the time, but its now affecting my health :( schools are very stressful places to work arent they :( I need my time more than I need the job really, although until I can replace the hrs with houses ill have to tighten my belt but its doable. Just feel really poorly with it, will be phoning them on Monday informing them I will not be returning, not comfortable with it and my stomachs in knots thinking about it but I can not go back.

Havent read back yet, I just felt the need to offload, been tossing and turning all night.

Very little done in the house but pottered enough for it to be ok, will be doing some washing later and wot-not.

    Xx
