Ok so I didn't get the ironing done so that will need to go on a weekend list but I have done the dailies and hoovered quickly through the house.
Paid stuff now.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
(((Hugs))) Dusty. Hope you have a better day today.
Yesterday I achieved almost nothing, except making a very nice SW moussaka for tea - and Valli, I cooked it in two 2-portion dishes rather than one larger one so that I could freeze one meal for another weekMuch more satisfactory than trying to find space for a half-empty dish in the fridge!
This morning I have decluttered a phonecall which I was dreading, and it turned out not to be a problem
There was no heavy overnight rain here and we have sunshine this morning, so as soon as I have started the WM I am going out to do some tidying and planting. Hospital visiting and a trip to Sain$bug$ this afternoon, DH out this evening.
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -
morning all
hugs good wishes and positive vibes to all, whether you need them or not.
yesterday was too busy, radiotherapy is going ok and so far not causing any problems but chat with drs underling was a very strange one. good news back pain doesnt appear to be caused by C spreading but that will only be confirmed by doing another MRI. (they will have a meeting to decide if they are prepared to do that and tell us at next weeks meeting. Concerning news pain pain is because there are 2 fractured vertebra in the mid lower back!!!!! he suggested she take pain killers and not do too much heavy lifting or any load bearing exercises. (im soo glad Dh is coming with us next week)
my appt at breast care took over 2 hours apparently it was last nov i found the other cyst and had a mamogram then so cant have another within a year so they agreed there was something but an ultrasound revealled it was another harmless cyst. huge relief all round.
thank you very much for your support.
so far today ive sewn the heads on 6 littleyellowducks, they are now ready to be released. freecycle man came and took giant crocodile, 6ft long toy snake and a polar bear. 2 huge bags of old car mags came down from attic - im hoping Dh will agree they can be recycled. bought a bags of footie boots down that will be gifted to local school for the spare kit box. found my bag of little baby nightgowns they are still in perfect condition so DD2 can have those - shed been looking on elbay but said they were really expensive so im glad i found them.
ive found floor in DS2s room. texted to sort out journey sharing re weekend camp. asked someone on freecycle to consider DS2 for some walking boots they are gifting. had a natter with Dh on phone re the christmas shoe boxes he took into work this morning (my aunt had knitted some toddler hats that werent really the right age for our boxes so i sent them with a note asking for them to be squeezed into other peoples younger boxes. and had a natter with the avon lady and placed a christmas order. not bad going considered its not quite 10.30

Mrs MP.. it is beautiful... I've not started my mothers and not touched MOL's cardy in days.. been doing this funky jumper
Santander are a lying set of thieving barstewards.. Claiming I wrote a cheque on an account I have not used for over a year with no cheque book and no bank card... flipping furious I am ... I cannot buy food for anyone this week because my last £150 had to be put in their bank because they are nasty thieves and should all be in prison!! And they wonder why I don't use the account!!! I hope they are reading and suitably ashamed they are depriving children of food!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

So relieved for you mrs mp x
Decluttered horse piddle visit myself this morning. Consultant happy with healing and just having a follow up in December for the meds which are not as quease inducing any more.
Had enormous Mr A delivery, cupboard fully stocked for winter, and I cleaned the fridge out first since I did the freezer yesterday. Cottage pie cooked for lunch (and tea for me) and DW set going. Will get a wash on later to get uniforms done before I go off on my travels.
Need to tidy my eyebrows up!!!
Am now going to pick up 30 new books DD has strewn over the floor...Bossymoo

chicken bits n bobs in slow cooker for tonight - kids will have cheesy pasta or fishfingers and oven chips (their wish, not mine!!)
might do a quick hoovering before school run. A friend came in for a coffee and a natter after playgroup and stayed quite a long time!
bit peed off about playgroup this am, I wasn't on the rota today as I did it last week, but I basically ended up doing as much work as if I had been. Will probably not go next week and just chill at home or go to the allotment with the small person, because I don't want to start feeling resentful about it
:hugs: to all those frequenting hospitals today and having money traumas0 -
Mrs MP great news
Been to the GP (queue more tears - I don't do medical well) so have just been pottering for the rest of the day. Towels washed and toilets cleaned.
Most of the papers for GB meeting on Monday read. Going to pop to town now for my prescription and and a couple of other bits.
