  • Well I am so very glad that it's not just my GUAG that has disappeared!!! Hope it is having a lovely time with Dusty's and LW's but need it back by Monday at the latest please!!

Actually did a little more ironing this morning before vol job 2 but loads left to do still.

Vol job 1 tomorrow am and GP appt - so must prioritise - packing for weekend , ironing essentials for that - including DS bedding to take back and sorting finances and a very important email.

Will catch up with you all next week early on Monday - have a great weekend. x

wet bed this am has prompted me to tick off the changing kids bed task - knew there was a reason why I didn't do it yesterday :D that would be 4 x wm done today, as well as 5 hours of the paid stuff, dd to dancing, ds has been phoniced and violined. Bathroom improved, bit of bleach slung around. And..... drum roll please...... landing floordrobe (pretty much) cleared and put away. Yippee!

Well since I did 6 extra shifts in September and my October shifts all got crammed into the last fortnight, I seem to have had no time at all to do any housework!
My house is truly awful and I haven't even had time to log onto here- that's bonkers!
So, I am off now until Monday night and I have work friends coming for lunch on Wednesday. So my house needs to be cleaned before then .
I am getting really naffed off with all doggy toys etc being scattered around the house and because someone has decided her bed can go where the bin should be, nobody can get to the cupboard under the stairs so I have carrier bags on every surface I can see.

Lovely DD has cooking today. She mentioned it at the beginning of the week in a casual manner but not that she had cooking THIS WEEK. So last night at 17:10 she says, "Oh, I'm cooking tomorrow. I need my stuff". I had seen a list on the side and assumed it was for next week as it had been put there about 10 minutes previously! Grr. This was 50 minutes before we had to leave home for their RNP at cadets.
Anyhow, ingredients sourced and she has packed them away nicely in a non plastic bag.

Right. Am off for coffee and toast so I can update my list with what I have achieved (shouldn't take long then, pahahahaha!).

ETA: And now I have to go out and buy a chuffing cabbage. NOW! Blimming kids.

Morning all, I've an early start at the paid stuff today, but will quickly walk the dogs and tackle at least one thing from the list first.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all.

Hugs, spoons, sticks and vibes to all. :)

Yesterdays plans went to pot after unexpected visitors turned up. They completely drained me of my GUAG. All I managed to get done upstairs was the dusting then I spent the rest of the day on the sofa knitting and watching TV/DVDs with DD.

Today is going to be hit and miss. I have work this morning and again this evening. I need to get a wash load of towels done, clean the livingroom, all the dailies, put tea on and start the shopping list for this weekends grocery shop.

I'm due to get a text this evening saying when my delivery is coming tomorrow, so that will then dictate whether I need to move the freezer etc tonight or whether it can be left until tomorrow. Then the livingroom will be packed until next Thursday when the council are coming to collect the old fridge & freezer. They have a recycling scheme where usable stuff is done up and sold on to low income families. Much better than two functioning appliances being recycled. Its also free whereas I'd have had to pay extra to get Arg*s to take one of them away! I've had about 6 years out of them, but I really need the floor space rather than the food storage space.

Off to make another hot coffee before I go out. Its cold, damp and miserable here so I am not looking forward to work today :( Laters

Just having a coffee break. Have managed to get the kitchen and downstairs loo done. Not the fridge. I can't bear the thought of wrestling the dog to get her away from the food whilst I try to empty it. Little sh!! Bag has just dug up my front garden in one quick frenzy while I washed the windows. So now I have half the garden on my lounge carpet, a dog who is sulking and sleeping on the sofa, smeary windows which I can't dry as the squeegee has vanished and a lukewarm cup of coffee! :o.
Oh well, lounge, DR and kitchen windows done outside and kitchen inside done too.
