Just checked the lists, and I've done the majority. We won't mention cleaning the oven
Online shop done this morning. I had an appointment before lunch, and met someone there I haven't seen since all our children were littlies, so quick chat. Plan to meet for coffee and natter sometime.
After lunch, took DD to uni, then home for an hour in the garden. There is still so much clearing to do, but it's looking much better. If it stays dry, I should finish most of it in a couple of days.
(((Dusty)))It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Sending a bit of strength Dusty's way. Mind you sometimes giving in to it and just letting the tears out isnt a bad thing. Hope you feel better now.
Been a horrible day, everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong. Anyhow, its over now and I am chilling in front of the fire with a glass of wine. Stuff the flying for today, will start afresh tomorrow.0 -
DD and I have both had one of those days where everything that could go wrong seems to have done so
Final straw was going out to work in a "light shower" only to get drenched despite using an umbrella. So despite getting a text to say the fridgefreezer will be here 7-10am tomorrow I've done nothing to move stuff out of the way except the table and chairs. The rest won't take long, I just couldn't face dragging stuff around, and dealing with any spiders that may be lurking under the sofa or freezer. Next door won't like me though, I'll be vaccuuming about 6.30am tomorrow in theory, thats if he's even home at that time.
Tomorrow I'll get on with admin stuff for work, finish the lists, do some washing and breathe a sigh of relief that this Saturday is going to be alarm free as DD is seeing her dad on Sunday instead so she can go to her friends party on Saturday.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day....Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Water board men visited and sorted Ex Mr Boarded ups drain roots so hopefully we shouldn't have drain problems again soon.
I had to take a flask of tea to bf who was waiting in for a delivery. Her house is due to complete tomorrow so had been cleared out.
Dailies done. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow as IBD has been playing up.
Dusty Hugs x0 -
Haven't stopped today. Not much off the list but trying to get the house decluttered and ready for valuation.
4 x wm, 1 x dw, wudupa, wiped all the sides in the kitchen, scrubbed the floor tiles and used grout cleaner (it took about an hour and a half but it looks so much better!) cleared the sides, decluttered the shelving units, took down ds2's cot bed, stripped the nursery border off, took down the curtains and lampshade and washed them, put new curtains up, moved the bed and hoovered the floor, ready to move all his toys into his bedroom and out of the living room (hopefully the living room will look like a living room again!).
I also got all the old toys and clothes out of the loft and started pricing it up for the nearly new sale n Saturday. Did some ironing while the kids were eating tea and finally sat down at 9 to watch an hour of TV.
