cushions on a bed

Not all of us!
What is the point of putting cushions on a bed to 'look nice' when no-one's in that room during the day and having to take them off to use the bed? Bonkers!I agree :rotfl:
I agree as well. Knowing me I'd trip over the cushions where I'd put (thrown) them on the floor.Ah I'm quite often in mine, so not just at night for sleep. I wonder if that makes a difference for me.
I spend a lot of time in my bed as well and cushions would drive me crazy.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

No cushions here, to me what a load of nonsense, why have cushions then put them on the floor, at least use them as pillows.
Waste of money IMO, but each to their own...................Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Plenty of cushions here one the sofa and chairs, but not on the bed. Bed has a duvet and three pillows, I'd hate anything more0

Sorry I meant in the bedroom itself :rotfl:
I'm in there a lot, not necessarily in bed, so I'm wondering if that's why I like the cushions. I agree with others that if I just went to bed, I'm not sure if bother with the cushions, but because I am always in there I love them.
I notice some have cushions on there on sofas, whereas I don't, because I'm never really in the lounge..... Always in the bedroom :rotfl:Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

Ha, if only. Hubby chose coordinating cushions with the bedlinen when we first moved in together. They lived on the floor for the most part before I binned them. [Get an extra pillow FGS

Thanks for the explanation.
Personally my bedroom is used only when in bed, whether at night or when unwell and can't understand why anyone would spend time there otherwise.:oLost my soulmate so life is empty.

I always thought cushions on the bed was a hotel thing. They go straight on the floor for us, never anywhere to put them.
We have cushions on the sofas, for back comfort, but never on our bed. I suppose we could have cushions on our rarely used spare bed, but I don't really see the point.0 -
I pretty much live in mine 24/7 (well except when i'm at work), is the only part of this shared house that is "mine" so its my space.Torry_Quine wrote: »Thanks for the explanation.

Even when i had my own place (well shared with an ex though hed technically moved out so i had it to myself), i still spent most of my time in my bedroom. For me its my safe haven.
I suppose if i lived with a partner or had a family it wouldn't be, but for now it is.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
