Hi LIR/Spirit :kisses3:
How's things?
It's all manic here. Things (that have been keeping me away) haven't died down/been resolved yet. If I get a mo, I might post elsewhere about it.
Likely to flit in/out for maybe a week, then be intermittent again for a couple of months I gues.
How are we?It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Been a while...;)
Our citrusy, gelatinous old mate has deigned to pay us mere mortals a visit! How's it going? All well I trust old fruit (pun intended).
Everyone has been absolutely splendid and very well except for those that have not sadly. I still don't have cancer which is particularly good news for those people that are not beneficiaries of my life insurance.
The Mighty Spurs continue being slightly mighty. Harry 'Real Madrid' Kane is having a great season obvs. I actually hope we sell him to Ar53*al for 100 million squids and he turns out to be !!!!!! after all. When are we going to be playing your lot again? A few years unfortunately is my guess.
Work is good. I got an internal move and am working p/t, 3 days a week as an equity analyst, i.e. helping people decide what shares to buy and to sell. Love it, absolutely love it.0 -

I wouldn't rule us out. 4 teams are vying for 2 play off places. At least 2 of the top 8 play each other every week between now & the end of the season.Work is good. Not mine!
Anyway, Hell is other people.
Glad your mob are doing better. It's very hard to follow anything but the EPL over here. Nobody gives a flying fox about the lower leagues. The three teams that are promoted simply appear from nowhere in mid-August and the three that are relegated just disappear.
Basically most people only really care about 2x Manchesters, Liverpool, A......., Spurs and Chelski. If you mention a team that's been out of the EPL for a couple of seasons then you often get a bit of a blank stare.0 -

Actually, I imagine that the recipients of your life insurance are probably the people for whom your still not having cancer is the best possible news.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
He has a haircut from off of the 1950's
Off of?
Anyhoo, he's one of our own. Until he's not any more at least.
He's had a great season and I really hope he stays. I have a funny feeling that he's going to go somewhere else for more money. I can't say I blame him as I've done the same thing more than once in my career.0
