Not sure I agree with you on this one. Don't girls also need to have seen appropriate male behaviour so they can recognise but is inappropriate?
    I think....

I think girls need good male models and boys good female ones personally.

I don't know why I am awake in the middle of the night, but it occurs to me that all single ladies should have a tether ring installed near the front door, so Mr. Right can tie up his stallion whilst he is doing his sweeping. The last thing you want is for the stallion to run off mid-sweep, especially if there's a lot of traffic around.

And maybe you need some hay, to keep the stallion happy whilst you entertain Mr Right? So, add hay to the shopping list, as well as CAKE. Mr Right may well like cake, probably fruit cake. And Earl Grey tea, of course. And cucumber sandwiches.

Us modern Mr rights stayed with the times, I won my wife over with a citreon saxo (My then stallion) and she hooked me with a nandos (the food of love). :rotfl:

They charge you to collect recycling or garden waste? I don't see how they can meet their targets to avoid landfill if they charge people not to use landfill. Strange policy.

£50 per year and £25 one off for a garden waste bin here.

I took some more photos of the primroses yesterday. I love the way that they have seeded into the patio side of the retaining slate edging. They have spread a long way along the hedge over the years since we planted just 3 small plants! We were very lucky that I managed to find a pin as well as thrums. :j

We also have some dwarf daffodils, they're more spread out along the hedge.

I think I might try and plant more mini daff bulbs come autumn. There's also some full size daffs, but they're only in bud at the mo. Also rather choked with the honeysuckle, so will try and free them off before we go home. Hoping the wind drops a bit so it's more comfortable to sit outside and do fiddly pruning! ;)

Lots of foxgloves coming up too. :j Didn't have many last year for some reason. Always get some self seeding into pots, so will try and dig some of those out and pot them up and take them home to try in the garden. Won't flower till next year, as pots weeded yearly so none are old enough to flower yet. (Foxgloves are biannual, or sometimes perennial if you're lucky)

The stallion can be tethered out the back. I have earl grey (and indeed lady grey) in my tea collection that probably rivals the inrates'. I could rustle up a cucumber sandwich at the moment, though I don't always have cucumber or bread. Very rarely have cake, but could pop to the shop across the road if required.

Cucumber sandwiches might be a problem here. I buy plenty of cucumbers, but it's difficult to keep them in the house. DD eats them as soon as she finds them.

Important in a different way, I suspect. Whether one is more necessary than the other is difficult to define.

Agree. Both sexes of children need both sexes of good adults in parental type roles.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

The boys would disagree about the need for a male parent, as far as they are concerned, they are so much better off without him than with him.

They are glad we divorced and think their lives are better without him being here, quite sad really but he has well and truly lost them through his own actions.

Oh and I lost 2lbs this week bringing my total to 1 stone 9.5lbs since 12th Jan....I'm a tiny bit chuffed to say the least.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
