You can go against popular opinion on the relationship board.. Meh, its spring, if I get kicked off I can take my breaks in the garden with a book instead of macputer. We have started weeding herb garden , and reception is less great in the back corner out there anyway.

Did a load of gardening in the pots on the deck today. Took forever. Am totally knackered. Had hoped to get out and do some work on the hedge (eg rescuing daffodils still in bud from strangulating honeysuckle) but couldn't make it down the steps.
But did manage to stagger out to get evening photo of Snowden for you all.Evening sky Saturday by ukmaggie45, on Flickr
Bit later tried pics of the fab new moon, not had time to look at them yet, prob carp... But bit later again looking out the caravan window could see the old moon in the arms of the new really clearly. Always a magical sight. And something we couldn't have seen at home - houses in the way. I'm a lucky person to be able to see these things.0 -
We have a new bed, needed a new mattress as our current one is 14 years old and even with a topper was very tired and as DW wanted a bigger bed and we really wanted one to match the colour scheme - if I am posting at 3AM then clearly the mattress isn't very comfortable.
Sadly the DKs broke up some of the polystyrene packaging into tiny statically charged balls, I don't know if we will ever get rid of them allI think....0 -

I popped over to have a look. There's no way you are a troll. Someone has very thin skin. I don't even think you've gone against popular opinion. I think you've just gone against one person who is convinced that they are right. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

The way it works I think is when enough people complain you get a PPR. Some really level headed and sensible people, as well as some vehement but non non butters have been ppr'ed from that board because of going against flow of an in group or two. ( remember it might not even be more than one personjust one log in). I don't mind though. I don't mind if I HAVE gone against popular opinion either fwiw. Although I stand by what I say sometimes people need a devils advocate in those kind of threads anyway, so if I didn't think it I'd wish someone did.
I love opinions that challenge me, I never understand why people are so opposed to thinking or rethinking.0 -
Well, I sincerely hope that it doesn't come to that. If it does, email us and let us know...
Hopefully we'll be able to camp out in Pastures's gaff until you're allowed off the naughty step. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I wonder if I get a PPR now?

Don't worry, I'm probably more likely to become an astronaut than actually do anything along those lines. In fact that would be less of a ridiculous idea. Its just something that's been on my mind for quite a long time.
If you are going to do it, then don't leave it too late. I have a friend who is trying to conceive by IVF at the age of 46 - I assume with donated eggs as well as donated sperm because I don't imagine they'd want to use her own at that age.ukmaggie45 wrote: »Think I was 61. I have two goddaughters. One is just about to turn 18 and lives in London, and the other is 14 and lives in Oxford.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

My parents were both 49. My in-laws were 47 and 52.
We are both 51, but we don't feel old enough to be grandparents.
