Well, for and I have spent a long time looking at that photo this evening and we think its probably just an uncanny similarity. A couple of things look slightly 'not right' ; too nice a chin, not nice enough limbs, hair like I'd almost never wear it. I cannot be certain but hey ho. My knickers aren't in a twist about it.0

If you look, you'll see that Ant and Dec always stand the same way round on TV
That's the only way I know which is which. Morecambe and Wise mostly stood the same way round for the standup part of their act (not always in the sketches though. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Well, I managed to fill up my green bin, and some of my neighbours' too. I'm getting rid of most of the plants at the front of the house, except for the roses in front of the windows. Everything else I either don't like, or feel it's in the wrong place. Either way - they're going. I did put the Kniphofia on freecycle (I think it was Maggie who suggested it was a shame to chuck), but no takers so it's gone.
I am aching already. I was going to clean the house tonight, but I'm going to risk leaving it for tomorrow instead. Let's hope I don't oversleep!0 -
Did anyone catch the UK's Eurovision entry? Has been announced tonight. It's got a 20's swing vibe. But as someone has posted on twitter (and will now be stuck in my head) it's very like the "Birds Eye Potato Waffles, they're waffly versatile" ad..
Not sure I like it, but it is catchy. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Good job I did go out and get a break, ended the day at £0.12. Not a good day for income really.....
Agreed. It's set the estimated time until you own the entire universe back by several days.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Thank you for the lovely photos Chewie. What beautiful girls
So happy for you both.
Maggie I expect doing that survey wore you out! I agreed to do one over the phone a couple of years ago and was astonished how quickly I got tired, even though I was just sitting down holding the phone. Never again! If anyone rings or comes to the door doing a Mori poll or something I have to explain that I have a neurological condition and can't help, sorry.
Gen - A poster on another board who lives in Aus has just moved into a new home and is doing up their previous home for sale, and trying to find nice things for the new home. She commented on how ridiculously expensive everything home-related seems to be, and that prices in general seem to be rising. She and her husband have a rather lower income than I imagine yours to be (though she says she had thought her husband earned a good wage), but I wondered if you'd noticed the same re prices rising? She isn't looking at "expensive" shops or websites, but says she wonders how people on min wage can possibly manage.
Prices of imports are rising because the Aussie Dollar has fallen in value. The price of petrol has fallen as the oil price is falling even faster than our Dollar!
Unfortunately for your friend, I suspect that the Dollar has further to fall as interest rates continue to fall. The good news is that more expensive import prices are likely to be offset by a cheaper mortgage and cheaper home produced products like food and drinks.
The minimum wage in Australia is comparatively high. There are some very cheap places to live too if you go country. I was in Albury a few weeks ago and you could live pretty well there on minimum wage with benefit top ups. Sydney must be a nightmare for the low paid though.

Very good day here. Went to beautitians for waxing (painful) followed by shopping for clothes and shoes. Went straight to East and bought a dress and a top then two summer dress from their sale rail,so the average cost per item was a bargain. Then found an ideal pair of shoes , small broad heel and a strap across so they are secure and very stable. I am dafinitely a size 12 at the top but my hips have shrunk and the usual shape of dresses I like was just way too bigaround my lower half.
Went to theatre tonight in Chichester to see Jeeves and wooster, it was excellent. DD and bf came with us. This was my first proper evening out since my stroke and all went very well.I walked up many stairs and had practised clapping with the physio on Thursday, so felt quite normal. e intended to go to a chinese restaurant post theatre but a collision blocked the road and the route round it pointed us towards home. As DD was driving we did not want send her back into the confusion.
Home to mint tea and smoked salmon sandwiches instead.I feel very well and justifiably tired, not the exhaustion of fatigue or lethargy of illness. /hoping I have turned a corner, although OH has warned me to expect to be tired tomorrow, so not to get annoyed if I am.0
