I wish DS's school did three sciences. Never mind. It's a good school and no school is perfect.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

The researcher recognised the name/address and looked through the records to discover he'd visited her 10 years before when she was a beneficiary of her sister's death without a will. She'd even expressed surprise that her sister hadn't left a will - yet went on to do the same herself.
Darn , forgot to watch it this morning.
i suppose the lady just kept meaning to get around to it!
Fingers crossed Maggie!
Thinking of you all Chewie, and best wishes for the safe arrival of the chewettes.
Generali So glad your new job is working out well!0 -
Just to confirm, I am not love marriage specialist. I am just a dabbling amateur.0

Some of them have gone by now. Just a few more that haven't got enough spam clicks yet.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? I clicked on spam on the first 3, but I had other/better things to do and felt it'd get enough interest without me.0

Don't underestimate the beating up that chewherlegoff will have with a cesarean, it's a pretty tough op to get over. If I had my time again I'd have taken considerably more time off after the birth of The Boy.
Also, remember that chewherlegoff will be incapable of looking after the chewettes for the first few days as she will be immobile. If you experience what we did, there will be no nursing care whatsoever offered to the baby beyond passing to Mrs Generali.
I had to change nappies and fresh sheets, required as a result of the total neglect of The Boy, were handed over grudgingly. The nurses were much happier for him to continue to lie in his own p1ss than trouble themselves to pass me fresh sheets so I could change the bed.
I'm under no illusions - having your abdominal wall sliced over is a major op with serious consequences - I'm expecting her to have some lower back issues as a legacy from carrying two babies around as well - they aren't that small - both measuring 6lbs now on scans....
I've got the first three weeks off and my work will probably let me have another week if I need it.- I would prefer 6 weeks but that isn't really going to happen and also her parents have decided to come over here for 6-8 weeks so I figure if we have to put up with them they might as well help out!
We're you in St George's? I have heard terrible things about that place....hopefully Kingston is a bit better. A couple of people we know have had reasonable experiences there and with twins we should get our own room rather than be on a shared ward which will help. Fingers crossed for that.0 -

Yeah that's the one. My favourite was the ivf woman with her banker husband - all he wanted to know was whether they could fly to their Florida holiday home 10 days after she had had a caesarean.0 -
I've really landed on my feet with this job. It's fun and interesting and pays ok considering the hours plus I can be promoted within it.
I earn about the average Sydney household income for a 3 day week
Delighted to hear that.
That has restored my faith in the entire concept of good things coming (eventually) to good people.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
