Ultimately the issue with my lips is I'm still struggling to rehydrate adaquate ly from week before last.. Just takes me a while to get back up there because two of my pills have diuretic effect.
My lips get really chapped in winter (doesn't help that I bite them :I). I've also had to start sleeping with socks on my hands, after applying generous amounts of moisturiser, because they were in a but of a state too. Looking forward to spring0 -

Try the vitamin e oil. Not a thin one. Mine is 32000 iu. I use that and so etimes Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream on lips. Other wise I use ( ATM) aveeno on face with amazingly effective Neal's yard facial balm ( do they call it beauty balm? ) its a sort of dupe for Eve Lom face stuff you use with hot muslin cloths, but its BETTeR, and smells fab. I'm just slathering it on hands and face when I go out first and last thing as a weather barrier, and sometimes as a very fine top layer to skin routine ( done later ) if its windy or inclement.
I'm pretty good with hand cream tbh. ( leave some in the car for before I get out, when I'm waiting at the station, and other opportunity, I have some my the bed, by the sink for after hand washing ( I note only I use it as the hand wash is nearly empty and the hand cream pretty full!) But ATM I'm cruddy with body moisturiser because the cats have developed a thing for it and they wake me up through the night trying to lick it off me.. I think with so e things, like hands, its as much about when we apply. No good using the best hand cream in the world before we set out in the morning, if you go to the loo ( and obviously wash your hands) forty minutes later and apply nothing else.

Hope your mouth is a bit better LIR.
We had a scorcher of a weekend, 38C and sunny. I could not get to sleep last night though as it was hot and then woke up early. I got about 4 hours sleep and I am a real 8 hours a night man.
The Girl spent the day puking, poor thing. She's off school today and perhaps tomorrow. We'll see.0 -
Josh lost 6.5lbs this week, bringing his total to 13lbs since we started weighing him 3 weeks ago....the loss is probably more as we couldn't weigh him after the first week as we didn't have scales. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I'm just going to be lazy and ask here, rather than using Mr google, I'm afraid.
My son is applying for some internships this summer, and some of the firms are in the USA. In the UK, we start such letters dear Sirs and end yours faithfully. What is the equivalent in the USA, these days?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Also, I wrote this to him. Do you think it is sensible?
I think the way I would have structured a covering letter is very different from the way that you did it. I have no idea, though, what people expect these days.
I would start off with one or two strong reasons why I am applying for the job, i.e. why I want the job
These reasons will depend on the specific job I'm applying for full They will reflect more about the job that about me
Then I will simply move on perhaps with a short joining sentence to say two points about me that I think on of interest to the employer.
The first point I would make is that you are president of debasing for the whole of Scotland. That is very impressive. I do not think you need to talk about speaking in front of MPs, senior or otherwise. I do think you probably want a throwaway sentence of some sort, saying that this does not mean that you are an argumentative !!!!!!!, but just gently persuasive.
The second point I think I would make is that you have been doing a lot of work for the same (I think this is important) the same Internet marketing firm that you originally went for a short work experience placement to. In other words, they were pleased enough with you to invite you back
You might want to mention that you worked in the blazing heat in an Egyptian Fruitfarm, but in reality this was only for a couple of days, and whilst it is impressive it is not really the sort of thing that they are looking for, mostlikely.
Adam I am dictating this on the iPad, so I do not know how accurate it will be. Please bear with me.

I haven't had to write a letter like this for forty years, and I expect the fashions have changed a fair bit.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
