Whereas the male posters around here seem to be more 50 Sheds of Grey types of guys....;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Mrs Generali is a fan of the book and that amusingly silly website.
At Chez Gen were in the process of booking hotels for the trip to Melbourne. Think we're going to stay in Albury on the way down. It looks like a beautiful place.
North v South London derby starts in 20 mins. Ars**al. The name says it all.0 -

Might as well see as much as possible - one day you'll leave and never be going back.
These days it's easy to make loads of reminders/memories too0 -

You're on tea/food duty the next few weeks then Chewy!
Tell her to enjoy it.We had a scare last week when the sonographer detected excessive fluid around one of the babies- a lot of panic down the phone (I was skiing) but then saw consultant on Monday who told us sonographer was clueless and everything was fine.
As sonographers do their own reporting, this is VERY scary........💙💛 💔0 -

Fir and I were talking about the new Ellie Goulding song this morning in the car and I explained it was from 50 grades of Ray. ( classic lirism) Once fir worked out what I meant we'd missed our turning from laughing and were half way to a town in completely wrong direction.0 -

We had a cedar shed that was the best part of 100 years old. That was grey.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Think we're going to stay in Albury on the way down. It looks like a beautiful place.
It is.
Manages to keep that rural small town feel while at least trying to stay in the same century as Sydney and Melbourne in terms of a somewhat cosmopolitan vibe.
I can highly recommend* the rooftop beer garden at The Bended Elbow if you happen to be thirsty on a warm day.
Their description as as an 'English Ale Pub' can most politely be described as 'optimistic', albeit the beer is no worse than any other Aussie pub, and the downstairs area is about on par with a really bland Wetherspoons.
But the beer garden upstairs really is a lovely place for a lazy afternoon....
*with the usual caveats that I don't live there and have no idea if it's changed since my last visit“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

'Are you ready to be tortured in a way only a woman can torture a man?' she asked. I nodded nervously. 'OK' she said and ate half my chips. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

So you give me a 100% money back guarantee that this pub will provide be with the best meal and service I've ever had? You must be very confident of the quality I think.
Australian beer is a very small notch up from p1ss. I'd (almost) rather support Ars!!al than drink Aussie beer. Almost.0 -

As my recommendations are 100% free, I'll happily give you a 100% money back guarantee on them.
I have no idea what the food is like, I went there to drink somewhere nice and outdoors on a sunny day.
Given I live in Scotland, my reference points for 'nice' and 'drinking outdoors', and for that matter 'sunny day', are somewhat limited....
So actually yeah, feel free to completely ignore me.:rotfl:Australian beer is a very small notch up from p1ss. I'd (almost) rather support Ars!!al than drink Aussie beer. Almost.
Maybe order a wine then....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
