I love cauliflower cheese. I keep on seeing references to cauliflower rice. Sounds like a great idea but hard work to make. How come it's not available prepared?

Tbh, everything's hard to make for me at the moment. It's very much a two-handed world. The less prep a meal needs the more likely I'll make it.

I think I've bought something similar in Morrisons (if you're in there picking upyou lifetimes supply of biscuits).

Solid walls, solid floors, all vents are about a foot away from the ceiling! Really old house!

We've blocked the hole that there was between the back wall of one of the cupboards and the back wall itself, so at least the food is safe. So the only cupboard that is accessible is one containing old pots and pans.

Crafty climbers are mice, it managed to get from one cupboard to the draw above it, I guess over the back.

Yeah, I found that article too but TBH I have my doubts. How could you come to that conclusion with any conviction with the stated methodology? I'm not aware of any newspaper archives which still exist from the C9th in the UK.

I can't imagine that such soft tissue damage is evident in corpses either.

Yeah, I did wonder how they worked all that out from newspapers, but it was the most credible looking link I'd found, the Telegraph makes a change from my usual links to the DM!

Gen, as you are on line at the mo, I wondered if you had seen BoJo's latest...

The only time I'd ever heard the word onanist was in a previous post of yours iirc, so was quite surprised to see it used, and the context.

Oh my aching sides, that's brilliant.

I particularly like the anti comments in The Grauniad article about this. There are some frikking idiots in this world. Is it really a problem that we're rude about these.........onanists?

    Oh, I will.

When I go to a match I normally write it up on another site. I'll cross post it.

    LOL.

It's an interesting one. From what I can find, nobody knows why we pay through the nose. My first guess is that it was something horse related, no idea why really but a bit like looking a gift horse in the mouth (I think that comes from the idea that you can tell the age of a horse from its teeth so if you buy one you look in its gob first to see if it's the age claimed).

I confirm gift horse but cannot think of a equine nasal thing.

England should have a political fracture with Europe forcing us to have to play in the Asian cup rather than against European teams the way Israel do and we might win something....
    I think....
