Some bored flatmates made a peach omelette once. Before you go the fridge/fruit bowl out of curiosity, the unanimous verdict was, never again. :(

I was thinking earlier how Roast Beef Ice Cream - and similar - doesn't work. Sausage Ice Cream.... doesn't work.

    Why is that?

Just letting you all know I'm not doing well today and might not be around for a few days. I expect to bounce back, and might be fine later, but if I'm like this tomorrow will have to see someone urgently as I'm pretty dehydrated and am failing to resolve at home.

    Take care xxx
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

2] He's close to retirement, a portly, huffing/puffing/stooping sort. Seems rude to really. He's chirpy enough.

Shouldn't need to be rude. Say something pleasant like "Nice to meet you. I don't expect you realise, but I'm finding that the gate keeps banging in the wind if it's not latched properly, so I wondered if you'd mind making sure it's fully shut when you leave? Thank you so much. It would really make a difference to me."

I love marmite. I also love chocolate. But I can't quite get my head round the two in a single combo

Me too. I'm not into the current craze for salt/sweet combos - all these salted caramel things, and chocolate covered salted pretzels etc.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I opened my pack of Frikadellen and nuked one of those, with mash made from a spud (yesterday) - and splashed it with Heinz Tomato Ketchup :)
Eaten, with a fork, straight from the microwave dish, that'd been used to keep the mash in the fridge.

It's 5 star fine dining here EVERY day!

I am such a numpty. I read that and figured that you'd eaten an Ikea wardrobe for tea. No wonder you count calories!

Bit pricey, pack of 5 £1.89, so not cheap. http://www.discounter-preisvergleich.de/bilder/produkte/9968/9968_2012-03-14-12-25-58.jpg

100grams each, size of a fat fishcake.

Long shelf life in the packet/fridge - of up to 2 weeks (from memory), once opened eat within 2 days or freeze - and I can freeze them now (if they last that long).

It wasn't a great photo. It's a turkey/chicken burger really. Meat's quite tightly packed. Then they're fried. So ready to eat - eat them cold, or reheat.

This is a photo of some on a shelf, taken by a random photographer and uploaded to flickr: https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5184/5627609404_aa5b855468_z.jpg

He is a vet who specialised in eyes.

Some years ago he signed his practice up to a pharmacy supplier club as it was a a way of getting economies of scale. some years later it was listed on the stock market he hadnot followed its business development so it was a surprise. He sold his share and got £50,000 .I guess they must have had pharmacists who specilised in domestic and livestock/equine Pharmaceuticals.

Did it begin with 'C' ?
