I watched the programme on telly last night about Which Diet is best for you? ... They were split up into three different types of 'eaters' .. sadly I could identify with all three of them!
No hope for me!
My temptation is a different kind of emotional eating from the stress/upset they mention on the show. I eat unhealthily when I am bored, or when I want to put off doing something I don't want to do. You should see how many sweets and biscuits I get through when I'm trying to make myself write reports or mark coursework. My unrelated mental health issues mean that I also eat whatever's least effort to get hold of - which is frequently not a particularly healthy selection of stuff.lostinrates wrote: »New year new medical problems.
1. They cannot get my pills again.
2. GP is now saying there is a problem referring me out of area. Fir cuff eaten he put this in writing because this is directly contrary to everything we understood about the way NHs is meant to work. Would be interesting to see if they commit to writing. Especially as the endo and consultant phys want referral to particular place.
Too darn tired to care anymore.
:mad::mad::mad::(:(:(
Sooo fed up on your behalf.
I understand only too well what it's like to be too tired to care, so I'm so glad you have fir to fight for you.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

PN You could always put it on the floor when you use it. They're not very large and don't take up much room.
Also applicable to toilet roll!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'm hungry now!PasturesNew wrote: »Er ... I've a nasty, sneaky feeling that this chilli .... will never get as far as the freezer. I think I'll end up eating it all in the next 1-2 days.
Excellent
Though chilli does often taste even better reheated.PasturesNew wrote: »Measuring/weighing what I'm taking out, so I know how much volume it does end up at - had 130g (a half cup measure) and then 250g (a full cup measure), actual "cup measuring cups", not just using the word "cup" there.
I use my soup ladle to put stews etc into plastic trays. Two full ladlefuls is my usual rule of thumb for stews, and 3 ladlefuls of soup (not in the same tray, of course :eek: ).
You'll soon get used to your own measuring system.0 -

Yes. My weight gain over the time I've been doing my course has been due to stress, but also boredom / procrastination / not having the motivation (anxiety related) to go to the trouble of cooking something healthy (and so a bag of chipsticks and a chocolate bar meet all those 'needs')

Many people do just that for a living, and for a lot less money per day. Wouldn't be my first choice of job, but I'd do it.
Yes, absolutely! No shame in that. But, to replace a toilet roll holder, I would have to be on duty 24/7 for many years. I am not doing that for £20k.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
