I'll admit I'm not entirely sure what you were disagreeing with, LIR. :o

I didn't know whether the city was in lockdown, a bit like in the USA. Glad to hear normality ensues instead. That's important so as not to let them win.

I noticed absolutely nothing different today than yesterday. Perhaps a few fewer traffic cops. I suspect that security will be tight at the airport tomorrow.

I never liked the idea of those, for the germs potential in the little holes.

The word 'beaker' is now inextricably linked in my mind to a word beginning with 'p'. I blame you lot.

    Exactly, yucky.

That said, the other day I was cleaning a watch strap and the holes in that were not very pleasant either.

For future reference white is a bad colour for a watch strap, especially if its not smooth. This is sort of rubbery and textured and took a few cotton buds and patience.

Just watching the French news (LCI, my French isn't up to TF1 any more). 100,000 people are on the streets protesting the killings. They've still not found the little $71/$. I suspect that when they do they will 'fall down the stairs' whilst being arrested.

So important never to give in to this. ISIS and all their fellow travellers and apologists are fully deserving of our mockery as well as our hatred.

Gen, they were reporting here a while back that there are early reports coming in that they know who and where but it's a fast moving situation. Not sure if same is being reported there or whether there's a blackout, or for that matter, if it's true. Two brothers and their friend, returnees from Syria. It's not in Paris any more. AP has named them.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Looking on the BBC News website, apparently Le Monde has named them so I guess there isn't a blackout?
