Fir has left all his cufflinks in London.

We are debTing whether to open all the crackers to try and find a pair for this evening.

Drill holes in a couple of small coins - and join them with some bent wire.

Or put a couple of mother of pearl buttons on a small length of elastic.

Do you have a neighbour who may have a spare pair? Youngest couldn't find his cufflinks when it came to the prom (he had forgotten to bring them to my parent's) but a quick visit around the neighbours managed to secure a pair.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Really?

I am an O2 customer and didn't know that, lol.

I'll have to find out more.

The app is called "O2 wifi".

I can also log on to virgin wifi outdoors, because I have virgin broadband at home. Very useful as a some underground stations now provide virgin wifi.

Fir has turned down an opportunity to run in the London marathon because its 'at a weekend'. I cannot believe it. I wish I could do it. :(.

I think it's very romantic that he prefers to spend his weekends with you. :)

We have a landline for the same reason as PN, mobile calls keep dropping in the house. Shame really as we have all have unlimited calls on our mobiles.

I pay the extra (£5 a month I think) to include calls at anytime including 0845 etc. We are all very well trained to not use the home phone for mobiles. I rarely have an extra charges on the landline bill. We also like the smart-talk app that lets you use the mobile from abroad through the app at whatever the charge from your home phone would be (basically Voip like skype, but the quality is high) so OH phones home for free from abroad.
Sounds like you've got what I'm considering, or have you got an upgraded phone service. We reckon we'd save at least £10 per month with the £5 SIM.

We have BT and BT Internet here, partly for the sports (Moto GP). Parents have a good package with TalkTalk which gives them unlimited calls including international (mum can phone her brother in Australia every day), two mobiles and unlimited internet. I've tried to show both Skype, but they struggle to hear.

Our mobiles are from Tesco, 750 minutes each, plenty of internet (3Gb from memory but we tend to use free wifi more), and unlimited texts. Costs £15 for two phones.
Are they the capped contract; we already have that for DD. It's a pricier alternative we'd considered, but a very generous allowance. TBH if Virgin offered two £5 SIMS we'd consider getting one for her as well.

I have never actually found a working O2 hotspot but now we have the BT boradband I have made use of the free wifi.

WE have a box that you plug into your internet router and it gives you EE signal in your house but no longer have any EE phones. WE were going to sell it on ebay (they go for about 100) but if there is a NP who would benefit....
Does that just stop your house being a dead zone for reception?

Well yes, so do I, but it would be an incredible achievement!

His first consideration is all the cheese he can't eat while training for it, so I agree cheese is more important.
