Does anyone know where I'd very quickly pick up a basic sushi making kit? Not one with throw away rolling mat, but reusable, for a basic Christmas gift?

Lakeland does one or did at least.

Kiwi slept the whole night in his own bed ( hurrah) we put the flokati in the huge orvis bed.

That bed is immense, we knew it was, but when you put it in a bedroom it really feels huge. We've put it by a radiator ( both dogs love to be very cozy) but it really is just so big. On the plus side its good that they can both really stretch out and not bother each other if they don't want to.

Looking at their website, it appears to have been discontinued (pls check yourself though, don't trust my search!)

    Edit
    How about: http://www.johnlewis.com/meyer-sushi-rolling-set/p638006

Oh no! I thought my search was over.

    I trust your search nikkster.

Edit: I found I can click and collect one to my local waitrose from John Lewis. ( my local waitrose ( both of them) are quite small. But I live less than an hour from two rather big ones, one certainly far better than average, so I think these are just outposts to settle us between big shops....we're meant to use the delivery thing for real shops from waitrose. But then you don't get the little green button to choose between scouts, mental health services or wildlife rescue or what ever for that week.

Glad to hear you and family are ok Gen. When I posted, there was uncertainty as to whether other places were under threat. Glad it's only one, though horrid for those in there.

I hope they frappe his hazelnuts too.

I think we can be fairly certain that whatever happens, this is not going to end well for him.

Hoping and praying that it ends well for the hostages, though.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I didn't know things such as sushi making kits existed :)

The main thing you need is the rolling mat. It would be nice to find a kit with some seaweed sheets in it but I can probably buy them in a supermarket and a packet of sushi rice I certainly can. :).

Yo! Sushi sell them. Don't know where your nearest is.

Lakeland might be more likely for you.

Apparantly Asda and B&Ms if you're lucky.

I haven&'the got a clue where my nearest to sushi is. I do not ever go into a to one. I am opposed to food on conveyor belts. However fresh. Its a weird thing about me, and a weird sort of by passing of customer service. I just don't like it.

I have a couple of asdas nearby. and a b and m. I bought a heater in the B and M and it was very friendly in there. :) but imagine its a pushing fest now.

I've asked fir to do the john Lewis /waitrose click and collect for me so I can collect tomorrow afternoon. :)

My SIM card still hasn't been delivered so I might need to chase that up too. I have the appropriate shop near by, I wonder if they cannot give me a SIM card.
