    I got yelled at today.

Last year sometime I learned that we all have control of our feelings and it is a matter of choosing, not reacting. Nobody makes you feel a certain way, it's how you react to it. Feelings are inside us, not outside of us and handed to us. Sometimes (or a lot of the time) we don't choose and the feelings happen to us instead.

I have also learned that if you think someone is against you for some reason, it's more than likely to have absolutely nothing to do with you. People have enough trouble dealing with their own plate than to dabble with anyone elses.

It has changed my perspective and gone as far as changing me. For the better.

My old signature was a bit cheeky but talked about walking a mile in another persons shoes before judging. I would like to show that person the shoes that I have worn for three years. I've sent them an email apologising and describing those shoes.

Now, I'm trying to remember to choose how I feel.

How do family sometimes end up being the people that know you least?

    Slightly weird message ends.

I wish I had half your wisdom.

ON a much more tivial note. Obviously my kids can't find Xmas cards on their own so it falls on me to take on that quest. I can find them for Grandma and Papa, and for Nana and Grandpa/Granddad. But no Nana and Papa.

... not corrupt so that'll do...

For me, this works. Increasingly everybody's being proven to have their hands deep in the big pot .... lawbreakers, cheats, thieves, corrupt back-hander takers .... but not Queenie.

I'm not a Royalist, but on the basis you have to have a bum of some sort on a chair of some sort, then I'd vote for Queenie based purely on the fact she really seems to take care to keep her nose super-clean.

Zag, does Moonpig have anything suitable that can be customised to say that?

    ;)

Engine still intact. I love the noise it makes. :) I drove at about 60 on the M25. After Beaconsfield I found my confidence. Such fun!

There's a shop near me that seems to have every combination of people/couples/singles. I even saw one in there the other day for "X and partner". I just picked up the more regular: Mum, Sister, Sister and Brother in Law. I felt like a bit of a freak for not having odd family members with the selection available.

My aunt must know where this shop is :)

We got one to 'my niece and her fianc!' when it was appropriate!

I would use moonpig if I were having trouble and it was important to me.
