. Bil is very, very charming but slightly entitled. Of the three bil is the one described in family as of character and charm and leadership fir the kind one and the youngest as being bright.
In that case, I think you chose the best one. The pick of the litter, so to speak. I think that, if you have a choice between charm, brightness, or kindness, you should choose kindness. FIR is quite obviously *extremely* clever, as well as being charming in an understated sort of way.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Lol, I wouldn't have gone for either of the others.
and IMO family often view themselves and their number differently to the outside world anyway
. Its not natural, how we relate in different groups is slightly different because of preconceived expectation of family or different activity etc. 0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions. In the end, DW is going for http://www.amazon.co.uk/Christmas-Hanging-Decorations-Children-Make/dp/B005OJZUDY

Of course, having asked for help, she found that on her own. At least, now we all know what she was looking for.

Thank you everyone

The last few months have been tough, starting to think I'd made a massive mistake going back to uni and all that. So a lot of the feeling today is pure relief! I finally feel now that the work I've done and the money I paid for it was worth it.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

DW and I ran up the stairs, and the platform supervisor had already closed the last door by the time we got to the top, but fortunately he opened it up again for us. We were in too much of a hurry to thank him properly, which is a shame. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I always think we should do a proper thank you for presents rather than just a text or phone call. This then turns into a plan that the kids will make a nice picture or video that I will email. This then ends up with nothing being done at all or the idea beign started but never quite making it from the camera to the PC or whatever and eventually em rather sheepishly saying thank you possibly weeks later next time I speak to the gift giver on the phone....Got the job!
A bit chuffed tbh
 Inner Herts? would the possiblity of somewhere to lodge until you get yourself sorted be of any use?I think....0 -

You'll be settled in before you know it
I know it's felt like an age (it did for me), but when you think about it - you've done really well. It's only been a matter of months. That's pretty good going.
Plenty of continental ladies in the SE too
