I tried to download one of those PA apps today.

I don't think I picked a good one. On the plus side, it does seem to have sensed my lack of memory. Unbidden its told me what a centreboard is three times.

Disconcertingly it speaks only with a female voice in the not upgraded version ( dispite me having picked my self a male PA, so my ladyboy computer pa keeps saying' what can I do for you today? A centre board is....... '

I haven't actually managed to get it to do anything. It wants to link with google diaries not my online diary with cloud.

I'm prepared to pay to upgrade to pay for the right system, but I want to see that its the right system in playing with it on a free version, And....er, not convinced this is.

My voice search keeps using a search for bonobo apes as the example search.

I'd like bonobo apes. I still cannot remember what a centre board is.

Stops a sailing boat being pushed sideways by the wind. Can be pulled up when sailing downwind or in shallow water.

I'm supposed to be taking DW out for tea in central London tomorrow. Any suggestions, please?

    Are you planning to

    1. Wear trainers

    2. Breast feed

Yes to trainers, and happy to cover up for breast feeding. Actually, if trainers are an issue I have boots, which still have a healthy covering of mud.

Can't help. Never been out for tea. Don't know London.
Don't actually know what "out for tea" means. In my world it'd mean ... probably a bag of chips in the car :)

Haven't been for ages, me, and 'everywhere' offers tea again now I think. Or is tea pass! again now?

Any, you have seen us here GDb, you know that if we wanted to walk in in boots we would, or would say, hey, we have muddy boots on, we are leaving them at the door......we need a table before our feet freeze. :) or we'd dress up properly if WE felt like it.

Does tea mean tea, like Earl Grey, or dinner?

If dinner, http://mrestaurants.co.uk is the brand new offering from Gaucho's former MD.

If the dinner is like the canap!s at the launch party, it's a real treat! There's 2 restaurants there.

I had a lovely afternoon tea at the Milestone, opposite Kensington Palace a while ago. The wine cellar type thing in Fortnum's looks lovely.

    Or Afternoon Tea?

I was going to ask the same, then I realised I would probably still not have any suggestions :o

If you can stretch to it, Browns and Claridges are both excellent. I've heard differing views about The Ritz.

Best value on a Thursday? Probably Sotheby's if you want to go somewhere fancy:£7.50 for tea and scones, £20 for the works. Plus you can have a butcher's at the viewings which is always fun. My mate and I used to go to the viewings there and try to work out what made something cheap or expensive.

There's a great place in Greenwich but I don't think it's open on Thursdays.
