Come on, get cracking!! If we were agricultural workers the day would be almost over!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

Did that work?
So far we have been out, bought the papers and a new mattress protector plus 3 Christmas trees (2 for us, one for my mother).
We are now awaiting delivery of our new bed. Suppose I ought to empty all my old shoes out of the drawers in the divan base before the delivery comes.0 -

Had a very pleasant evening with F. She's definitely moving back to the fatherland now, on the 20th
Bit of a shame as especially last night I felt like we were really warming to each other. Nice wander round the markets, gluhwein, went for a drink afterwards, walked her back to the bus. Lovely.
Nothing much to add! Lazy weekend I think.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

My daughter had a friend round, who breast fed her baby in our living room the other day. She simply covered her shoulder with a scarf, as she didn't want anyone other her husband having a glimpse of her breast. Nobody asked her to. It's what she wanted, and there was no sign the baby cared.
But that's the point, GDB. It was what SHE wanted, and HER baby didn't care. Great. However, if anybody had tried to put a large napkin or scarf over either of my babies when they were feeding, they'd have grabbed it and yanked it away or even waved it about. Both mine were wriggly little things. I found my own way to be discrete about it, which mostly involved wearing tops with hidden openings.
It's fine for Claridge's to expect mothers to be discreet - or as discrete as their particular baby is willing to be! (Some babies like to suck a bit, turn round to stare at the room, turn back to the boob and suck a bit more, and repeat. It makes discretion difficult, but it's hard to explain to the baby that you don't want them to do this.)
It's not fine for Claridge's, or any of their staff, to try to specify the particular method of discreetness to be used.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
