The thing is that we have a tap with a lever like that in the basin in our downstairs loo. It was there when we moved in. I wasn't sure how we'd find it, but in fact it's been fine. So it encourages me to think we'll be OK with something similar in the kitchen.
The one problem that I frequently have with taps of that kind is working out which direction is hot and which is cold. This one does seem to have a little red spot in the pic, though, so I imagine there's probably a little blue spot on the other side out of the shot with that camera angle. And I've already decided that if I end up with one without little red and blue spots on, then I'll put them on myself with nail polish and a stencil or something.
It would probably be fine for you in that caseIt looks very elegant!

If it swivels left and right it should be fine. My kitchen tap now feels inadequate. I have to actually turn the hot and cold off and on.
How much spray is generated will depend to a certain extent on the shape of the sink and the pressure of the water, so could be fine in a deep and angular kitchen sink.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Boost your kitchen tap's self esteem. Remind it some of us still don't have them;).0 -
Hug duly delivered!
heard a lot of good stuff about the 5:2 diet and if I ever get my life back, I'd try it out. Exactly what you're meant to eat on the fast days is what I need a cheat sheet about. If anybody finds anything like that, feel free to pass it on to me.
Hugs to Nikkster and everyone else from me tooLIR
I like your philosophy. Mine is "stuff happens!" "And we deal with it" Not like it but just do what we can.
Hugs to all
What a lot of challenges to handle, as well as the joy of the wedding. Good luck with your planning.
Today was better than yesterday, managed to make significant progress on one of the big things on my to-do list at work, after a hard day yesterday.
I've just seen the end of The Hunt for Red October. I love that film :T
Should now have a proper early night (as opposed to thinking about it, then going to bed but surfing on my phone until much later)
Night all :cool:0 -
24wk scan yesterday PM and consultant appointment this morning. Everything going and growing to plan and I was very impressed by the consultant. I didn't go to the scan but OH reckons sonographer this time was outstanding. I always feel like the NHS is a bit of a lottery so very pleased it seems to be working well.0

I am assuming it swivels left and right. Mixer taps for kitchen sinks usually do, don't they? It's a one and a half bowl sink, so it needs to swivel to be able to be used over either part.
ETA Have just checked Amazon listing. Somebody posted a question asking if it swivels and 10 people have replied, all saying yes, and many of them saying how much they like the tap.It would probably be fine for you in that caseIt looks very elegant!
Aww. That's a nice thing to say.chewmylegoff wrote: »24wk scan yesterday PM and consultant appointment this morning. Everything going and growing to plan and I was very impressed by the consultant. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
