Thanks everyone although TBH it just feels like I am still well rather than I have not had cancer come back.

I do not want to overshadow in some way those with health concerns that are far more current than mine. Mrs Generali came along to the hospital with me and I said to her that the treatment feels like a very long time ago now.

I spoke to the doctor about being tired/fatigued and he was very nice about it but at the same time sort of implied that I need to pull myself together a bit. Point taken: I think I'm starting to wallow a bit in a whole 'Woe is me' thing a little. Time to pull my socks up and get on with it.

Forgive me but the bit a bout over shadowing is rot.

You think on a ward not all patients can get good care if its well staffed? Here we can care about each other whether some of us are in hospital or if some one tripped and grazed a knee.


Re fatigue, you're building fitness hopefully that and good nutrition choices , good sleep etc will help. Be fair to your self. You still have employment stress. And regarding the impact of fatigue....I have broken brain ......and being tired is more impactful frankly.
