Thanks silver, my understanding is that it is filmed at the Shenley Road studios. DigiSpy says to try parking in civic centre car park as all day is £5. We need to get there about 9.30am to queue until lunchtime to get in. The actual recording is due to finish at 10.30pm, so long day!

Thanks for all of the ideas. I think we are going to be in the vicinity for so long that we'll get a chance to try all of them.

Thanks also for the offer of parking. It's very kind. I think we will park at the civic centre though as that's not too far to carry lightweight chairs in order to wait in line for ages.

Personally, I love them, they produce a nice natural light instead of that all consuming light-polluting orange glow. I can actually see a couple of stars from the back garden now. :)

Oh wow, those are nice lights. I think Liverpool is going to move away from the orange monstrosities too, but suspect that our road will be fairly low priority. I hate hate hate the sodium lights.

Is that out of order? Since I had a daughter I've realised I have an entirely new politic to understand. I mean the GIF as a silly thing/compliment. **sigh** life is hard.

    Bahhhhhhh

Went out, and car went BOOOOOOOOOOm. Exhaust went. ( we had this done before. ) had to drive back to the town where garage is and io had the two girls in the car.

He gave me a nice car the one time I wanted a jalopy.....because of the dogs, lol. anyway, then the girls, refused to get out and leave their car.

So I had to do a little song and dance routine to convince big girl especially it was a good thing.

Its just as well I don't seek to have credibility. ' common doggies, mummy's new car for a day, common doggies, tinted windows all the way, white paint work we can sell drugs, drive fast, cover the windshield with bugs' are hardly going to win me village minstrel of the year even.

Made me think of this (and the related story): http://www.theguardian.com/science/video/2014/nov/14/rosetta-scientist-matt-taylor-breaks-down-apology-offensive-shirt-video

I'm not really sure which 'side' I'm on - yes, the shirt was a display of truly awful taste, but compared to some of the 'sexist/ disrespectful to women' people in the news lately, I think it is a complete over-reaction.

Back to bugslet - what a stunner! Definitely a picture to be proud of!:)

Hope Miss Spirit is ok too - must be difficult on her knowing she's so far away and unable to help.

We are not telling her, as she would be exactly as you describe or want to cut the trip short. we are glad she is not here as she would bear the brunt of this and feel responsible for everything. We have not told family either as O/hs sister or my sister would put themselves out to look after us. we have help but it is spread around neighbours who live nearby so not taking liberties with their generosity.

Good idea. Don't expect her to be happy about it when she first finds out, but I'm sure she'll realise it was for the best after she's calmed down.

You're every bit as kind and thoughtful as ever, Spirit.
