Make sure you don't miss the reviews. Almost as good as the Veet (or was it Immac?) for men page...

Some of the comments are amusing.

I just read a few, but thought they were amusing enough to share. I liked the blue stripes up the legs one.

Hi. If you’re still having problems with your delivery feel free to send me your details to the email address on our profile page. I’ll see what I can find out for you. Chloe.

Thanks Chole you've made my day! :T

The package is already tracked, so I'm sure it'll arrive in one piece!

My poppy is packed and ready to go according to the tracking orders page.

It says "waiting" for yodel to collect.

Expected delivery says "January- February 2015"

If they have as much faith in Yodel as the rest of us, why did they choose Yodel to deliver?

Taken my very strong pain killers tonight, can barely move and in a lot of pain, no idea why, haven't really overdone it, maybe I am sickening for something.

Oh no! Hope you are better soon. Do try to look after yourself.
    Sending hugs. :grouphug:

Josh got the result from one of the units he resubmitted on Friday, this was one where I took one look and nagged him horribly (my new nickname is The Dictator, or the worst nightmare teacher ever as I wouldn't let him hand it in again until it was a lot better, which took a fair few rewrites), he has gone from an ungraded to a merit.

Last night OH had norovirus. whilst vomiting he passed out and ell in the bathroom. twice. We could not get him up so we called an ambulance. he spent two hours on the floor before being taken to hospital.Despite it being the middle of the night our lovely neighbours came round and looked after OH making him comfortable as I could not look after him and he had hurt his knee.

he is home on crutches now as he has damaged a medial (knee) ligament.so we are both now incapacitated.DD is a way for a further 3 weeks.
other neighbours have walked the dog, shopped, put the bin out, fed the bunnies and offered to do the ironing.
I am having the fish pie another neighbour made yesterday . I feel very fortunate in having such genuine and kind neighbours.

How scary for you both. So very glad to hear you have such helpful neighbours. Wish there was more I could do to help.

A while ago I worked in a school where the (young straight male) exams officer found that providing a pen for invigilators to sign things etc wasn't working because the pen always got nicked. So he got the sparkliest, fluffiest, pinkest pen he could find (and it was sparklier, fluffier and pinker than any other pen I've ever seen) and provided that for use by invigilators. Problem solved - that pen went to dozens of exams and nobody ever half-inched it. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I've just remembered I had a pink sparkling pen with a fluffy top on a bouncy spring. I 'long term borrowed it' from my mother who finds truely hilarious pens in places.

Thanks all. I am equally blessed to know such Nice People who offer help. I think we are OK with near neighbours and friends assistance.I am also doing well and managing tasks quite well one handed. so far carrying washing down is the only thing that has defeated me.

oh is mastering his crutches and moving quite well but yelps if his knee moves at all. he is going to try stairs tonight so that he can come to bed.
he has eaten toast tonight, and so far that has stayed down so that is progress
I am not sure who I upset to have earned the recent trials but on the plus side it is good training for being old.

Oh Spirit, how dreadful for you and your OH. Noro is absolutely horrible, really nasty even if you are healthy. We all had it here over Christmas back in 1997, it kind of spoiled the Xmas spirit! I do hope that you can manage to avoid it - hand wash and wash and wash. Sending you both The Vibes and desperately hoping you can keep clear of it. So glad to hear you have such helpful neighbours. :)

Big (but gentle) hugs from Liverpool. :grouphug:
