I'm currently trying to get to grips with finance business ratios so I can teach Josh how to do them....his business studies teacher is not the best to be honest! I've asked and Josh has asked for an explanation on how to calculate all the different ones but so far, no help at all...apart from to ask for the unit to be completed.

What sort of ratios in particular? I'm sure between us we can work something out.

Goodness knows...that is one of the bits of information I have asked for. I THINK, it is profitibility ratios and have sorted out ROCE, Acid test and GPM but apart from that, I am completely clueless. Trying to get clarification from his teacher is impossible, I've asked and Josh has asked but we are no further forward.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

There are many links on the Internet, but this one looks useful. http://www.tutor2u.net/business/accounts/main_ratios.htm

Apart from that, do you know the exact exam board and course that he is taking, in which case we can probably look up the syllabus?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Correct.

I did think I put this, I promise. I've been on computer literally 10 minutes, and iPhones are useless.

Hey, no worries. I was just thinking that Gozo looked just like Valetta!

Isn't Mdina beautiful? Anyone who hasn't been there, it's a walled city and there are no cars allowed inside the city walls. It's very old and pretty.

The Arms used to have a really long photo thread. Torbrex Three of the NPs had photos in the earlier version back in the day.

I'm in the current one, though at a thinner point in life:cool:. I shall have to go and look at previous ones now!

lir, glad to hear you are feeling more able at the minute.

Lydia, I was in M&S, they tend to keep their workwear section going through the run up to Christmas.
