This is the one I fell in love with, but more like 40 cm than 4 inches:http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/amscan-minishape-black-bat-balloon/590681-1000

You might get a photo in a few days - there are some dead flowers in a vase in the way at the moment :o

I was on the Hobbycraft website looking at their bat balloons, when I decided I'dnever be able to guess what sort you got :)

Thinking about healthy food branding .....

' this is what my family eat'. Simple and compelling, but might feel excluding to the childless.

' food good enough to eat' ( especially if you are going to look at ethical sourcing as well as health) '

'Healthy, tasty, wholesome, and in your kitchen'

I also want to make the point that the food is made with ingredients that your Granny would have found in her kitchen.

Dripping, lard, a poached rabbit and some vegetables from the man at the cattle market that "sees her all right" - oh and some eggs from her chickens.

Are you in all day? Do you work from home or something? Or do you heat your house even when you're not there.

I don't turn mine off in the summer - the thermostat does that for me - but I do have it set to turn off when I think I'm probably going to be at work etc.

No, I'm retired, so apart from when I'm Traveling, I'm at home most of the time. I like to stay warm in the House, but reckon I do it fairly economically. As I say I turn the thermostat down to 15c at night, as I don't like sleeping in a hot room.My Gas and leccy bill is just over a £1,000 a year, for a three bed semi, which I reckon's not bad?

Nah, leftovers out of the fridge. I did treat myself to a rather nice Belgian beer though (a Leffe Nectar if anyone is interested).

    Back to work now :)

Never had that, must try it :D

    Liking the positive posts!

Oh and my good news for the day is I have another interview, this time in Herts Proper on the 27th :) That would be a great job for me too. Same consultancy as the Blackfriars one, they really seem to know what they're doing!

So even if I don't get the Blackfriars one I have that one to look forward to :)

Not heard from the local one. I think they've probably offered it to someone else and they're dragging their feet.

I am thinking of getting one of these:

    https://www.tado.com/gb/lp/ct-1b-3-heatingcontrol?gclid=CMvdz_SP5MECFYXJtAodWg8ACQ

It seems ideal for someone like me who (a) likes the house to be warm when I'm in, and (b) is in and out of the house at irregular and unpredictable times.

I'm curious how that one is self install but British Gas's similar offering requires an engineer. think it's called Hive if anyone has it.

    Why is it a rental?

I want to decoupage a ( subtle ) bat to the cheese room wall or ceiling. People keep telling me I'll regret it.
