He means how much work do you need to do without being paid for it in order to get the publicity, and how much publicity will you get?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
That's what I think. It's just a drink, no suggestion of cheating on anyone. I don't think I'd be comfortable with that.
She might well just be keeping her options open, which I think is fair enough.
I'm with Hamish and the others on cheating.
But what you're proposing is fine and I hope it goes well. Just look after yourself. Good luck with the job interviews by the way.
BTW, our mutual "chum" Danny D says London is the best place for single men to find single women. But not the other way round.;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I remember being shown the moon landings; they took us out of class to watch it on a TV. It felt utterly precarious, and astonishingly daring., as there had only been people in space for about 8 years.
We knew it was a tin can and the rockets were giant bombs- the astronauts could have got stranded or blown up. We now know there were plans for what to broadcast about that. It was gripping. We honestly believed the entire world wanted them to get back home safely, even the Soviets.
By the time they came back, it felt like we could do anything- next it would be Mars then the stars. The best time to be alive. :beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

We're not being asked to do anything for nothing/ no money. I don't have a great deal of detail from this evening but it's significantly double figure episodes of TV, which strikes me as bonkers at the moment. I can't really measure that kudosEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Completely agree with this. It was an amazing time of technical optimism, though I didn't realise as the child watching, how much it cost the USA. Something like 7% of GDP IIRC. I so wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up.
It's still the most amazing thing I've seen. I don't get moon landing deniers. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I still don't really understand why you said that you would have to dig deep? Is it a big problem to fit this in with your other work commitments? How did the production company get in touch with you, why you, in particular?
My impression is that usually the TV companies get this work done for nothing by the builders. How come they're proposing to pay you?
Finally, I suppose this is a genuine production company, and this is not some elaborate scam?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Nikkster - how is the thesis going?
Much too slowly. Considering the time left.
I will be relying on others to provide timely input. Which depends on how much time and effort they are able and willing to give. I will also be relying on a nod to allow me to hand it over at the end of the year. Which I'm not sure I'll get, or to be honest that I deserve.0 -

We have enough work commitments for six months. We were recommended by our member organisation because we are National finalists for one of the biggest awards in our sector, the nature of our regional award and our specialism in reno.
If you think about those programs, they have key people that appear week after week. Some use additional volunteers, some don't. The production company is legitimate. I recognised the name immediately. There is evidence of the program on the 'be on a tv show' type websites.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
