Tropaeolum speciosum (Scottish flame flower) seems OK after being untangled from under-performing ceanothus and instead wound into obelisk.0 -
Wow that's stunning IHS, amazing colour0

hope the "sheep sheep" is ok, choille.. [sorry... its what I call mine]
had a couple come round today to choose a puppy ! didn't bat an eye at the price I asked ! friends persuaded me to ask more than I intended....
I hate asking for money especially as poor dolly did all the work but...
for a friends [2 pups] ive lowered the price to salve my conscience...
ihs... your plants always look so healthy ! get 'em to pass on a few tips to your fish0 -
I obtained some tropaeolum seed for a friend recently and she is trying to germinate it. It's not easy, but if she succeeds, it will be!
Was out yesterday at yet another celebration, where I had the largest pub lunch ever.:o Arriving, we were greeted by an ample lady whose first words were, "You got a puncture, my love!"
So, in my best gear, I had to change the wheel, right next to the table out front, where half a dozen local worthies offered 'useful' advice between their sips of Badger's Bottom......:o:(
Arriving home, Pete had been in and popped a small flock of 18 sheep in the fields. He said these would be the well-behaved ones from earlier this year. We'll soon know!0 -
Happy Father's Day to all the dads on here, all the people who act like dads and all those who are dad to animals. We are off out for the day to Upton house NT where they have a 1940s weekend. I'm sure I'll get chance to have a little wander round the gardens too which are some of my favourites.
Our new fence is being started tomorrow and I think I'm way more excited than I should be lol I'm thinking of painting all of my fence black. It's currently dark grey but I really want black. I'll see when it's up. Exciting though.0 -
Nice the pups are finding homes Alfie.
Lovely plant IHS - as others have said very healthy looking plants you have. That is a great colour.
Fay hope the fence lives up to expectations.
Dave - you are good at recounting a tale & make it sound funny, but bet it was a pain in the badger's.
Dull & very humid here again. Was woken in the night by hairy cat dragging my boot about in the bedroom - he'd popped a mouse in it. Managed to tip it out of the window, but he still spent about half an hour scrabbling about checking all the places it could be hiding.0 -
