set up a stall at the end of the track like Davey boy ;)
Davey boy doesn't care too much what people do to his plants once they've bought them, but he thinks you might be a tad more concerned about your pupplets! :naughty:

Recovery day today. I'm never going to re-roof another house as long as I live, which might not be long at the rate we've been going! We got 2/3 of the way through side 2 when the weather broke, and to be honest, I was relieved.

There will now be a full Bank Holiday before we have to strip the last section and get it all up again and sorted before the insulation guys arrive around June 10th....The free money for that is running out again. :shhh: They're coming from Wales!

A friend dropped in today, having recently returned from Chelsea. I didn't like to tell her that every time I've watched bits on the telly this week, I've just nodded-off....zzzzzzzzz. :rotfl:

Dafty, watch out, Horse Woman set off for East Anglia at dawn yesterday......

No space here, Dave, I'll send her straight back. 18 on the farm at the moment, so the inn is full.

I also now have a garden - and back ache! Gone from six shrubs in the garden to around a hundred in a day. New flowerbed dug, but it's resulted in a heap of ground elder about fifteen feet long, two wide and two high...

Donkeys hate the idea of work. If I'm carrying any tool, they reverse sedately away from me... I think it will be a battle getting to work for their accommodation and board.

New barn doors going on one of the big barns. Next, evict the white doves, then clean the guano out, then start tidying...

Wow you've been busy Daffy. We are going to a friends today to help with their garden as they have quite large new beds and haven't planted anything yet, your progress is inspirational.

Alfie, I'm sorry to hear about the horse. Always very sad when we lose anyone we love. And well, excited to hear about the dolly mixtures!

Not much happening with me. We are having new fence done on 20th June so planning the borders for when thats done. I realise it would be a bad time to plant and I'm growing plants on to do autumn planting, but I am going to be so tempted to start lol

Nice with us, so have moved all the agave outside for the summer, also the zonal pelargonium have been planted out in the pots which had the tulips.

Dahlia have been really slow to shoot, but appearing now. Indeed, not 'Chelsea chopping' anything as the season has been so slow to get started.

Been kicking some tires, 1st car stank of ciggies so that was ruled out, looked at one more and do like it so may go back on Monday to the dealer.

Went to a local beach for a walk & paddle as it was really hot. Just got back to the car when the heavens opened - thought it'd gone a bit dark.

    Must make the tea.......starving............

We went to a gathering of the clans on the Mendips, where it wasn't too hot and sultry, nor were the roads that busy going there.

On the way home, great gloom descended over Bridgwater, although that isn't unusual! :rotfl: Then the cloudburst hit, but we were through it inside 5 minutes.

Nothing in the wheelbarrows here, but I'm glad to be back to check on the roof!

Before we left this morning, Marvin, our cockerel, let out a warning cry. I looked up, just in time to see a hawk making off with a swallow, with the other swallows mobbing it. :(

Super day with us, so rare an event I have to keep saying it!

Conservatory emptied of plants, so now I can clear and prepare for relaying the floor. Lots of the wooden slats were coming away so am going to try and remove all then replace with vinyl so it doesn't matter when the pots drip when they all come in again.

Car dealer phone with the 'another customer is viewing today, ring me with a deposit' line. Maybe they are, maybe not...

EDIT Everything indoors need watering! The peace-lilies have wilted en mass.
