Right forgot to buy lotto on the way home, so better if nd a way of buying it online, unless hubby fancies going out to get it lol

I tried to buy online earlier today but web site not available. :( OH went for a walk in his new coat (John Lewis sale, £48 reduced from £160 - Bargain!) to make my purchase... He'd already bought my regular numbers and his lucky dip (only does that for rollovers) but I wanted a set of different numbers for this one too.

So not sure if you will be able to get online - the site went down on Wednesday evening too, but with it being Saturday today there may be more folks trying to access it. Plus it's an even bigger rollover.

    Good luck CTC! :)

Alfie.... Poor love... Hope she is OK.. I bet nipper is already thinking about his next trip to Canada..

Davesnave.. Sounds as though you are going to have a fab night..

CTC, the draw isn't till 9.55 (after "Causality" as OH calls it) so maybe the cut off time is later too? just a thought. Hugs.

IHS - Morning has broken by Cat Stevens or Yusuf... I think he's now called is a beautiful, beautiful song.

Very cold here, but dry. But not doing much. I fell a few weeks back & have pains all over, but don't know if it's the fall or what....it is getting that I can hardly lift my arm. It's all numb & pins & needles.

Sounds like a trapped nerve, choille. Don't forget to look after yourself when you're making sure OH isn't overdoing it! :naughty:

I'm not very good this morning_pale_, but it's all my fault. :o:oWhen I collected the empties for recycling, I was astonished at how much we got through....and only 3 of us were drinking!

Anyone else find that the thing cats like to play with best of all is a bit of twist tie? Doesn't matter what fancy toy we give them, they always come back to the bit of plastic-coated wire! :rotfl:

Snow has all gone this morning - as it's bucketing with rain :(

I think it very unlikely, but just in case anyone drops by after the funeral, I've been undertaking a serious clean & tidy-up here. Quite therapeutic too...but I am now off to get a new shower curtain.

Good to hear our choice of hymn has MSE approval.

Hairy cat has taken to chasing little chrome cap things that were left on the bathroom window cill - he is - at this very moment, biting a rather pitiful parlour palm that sits in there. It was quite magnificent when bought but now is a clump of chewed stumps. It was in a sale which is some but not much consolation.

    The sky is leaden.
  • That's the bathroom looking presentable with new shower curtain :D. On the way back from B&Q I also bought two more betta fish, both female so hopefully they can share the same tank without fighting. I had a spare tank (section) as my experience with five guppies ended with no guppies :( Odd, as I've never had a total loss from any other fish.
